Hey everybody! I just had a great idea this morning and thought maybe everyone would like to help me practice?

Anyways, my family runs a flower shop, so I'm pretty good at making arrangements and stuff like that. And the ships could really use some kind of, I don't know, organic decor, you know?

The plant life here is a bit limited, so there's only so much to work with, but --

[ She turns the camera to face a table in the Three Twins, which now proudly features something like this ]

Here's an example, I just kinda threw this one together now. Let me know if you want one! No charge or anything, I just need the practice. I've been getting super rusty!

[ Clasps her hands together in excitement!!! God she is like way too excited about being able to do this but SHE MISSED IT SO MUCH ]

You should definitely do it for her, even if she doesn't ask. I'm pretty sure she'd love it.

You're really good at those, by the way. How come you weren't doing them?

I'll see if I can find what I'm thinking of right away, then ...

[ There is. Not an easy answer to that question ... She pauses, trying to think of the simplest way to explain ]

I couldn't! I had a, well ... I guess, a curse on me that stopped me from doing it for several years. I didn't even think about the fact that it would have been lifted when I got here.

A curse? So you couldn't arrange flowers? That sounds like a fairytail. Jealous witch curses the pretty girl's ability to make things beautiful.

Well, it was kind of a combination of things, but that was part of it.

And ... it kinda was like a fairy tale. Not a witch, but a magical castle.

I didn't come here from the village I grew up in. I came here from another "multiverse" like this one.

That's why it was so easy to explain this situation to you before, when you got here ...

How long were you stuck in that last place?

[ok so he's curious for several reasons]

[ A pause, because ... she doesn't want this to make him worry that he might be stuck HERE for as long as she was there, but: ]

Almost seven years.

[he swallows.]

But some of the people who are here have only been here for a month before they just... disappear. So, was that normal in that other place?

Yeah. Staying as long as I did was incredibly unusual. Most people didn't stay past a couple of months.

[he nods, slowly.]

... That must have sucked, trying to make friends and having them leave.

[ Buddy, you have no fucking idea. But she just laughs it off ]

Allen stayed just as long as I did. He's also from that same place -- that's how we met even though we're from totally different worlds. There's quite a few of us here, actually.

Really? That's... actually kinda cool. You're universe-hopping butt-kickers.

I guess you could call me pretty well traveled. The castle took us to a bunch of different worlds, too. Well, sort of.

[look he's got that 'i want to know every detail' face again.]

I don't think it was actually that place. More like ... an illusion of it? It still had all the buildings and stuff that people would recognize if they had lived there, but none of the people.

Huh. So like an elaborate movie set or something. That's... kind of depressing.

[ AWWW. ]

You're in luck, I know exactly what I've got in mind for you. Just gotta find the right vase!

Aw, cool. [you guys are so nice to her, gosh.] I think I know exactly where we can put it, too.
