Hey everybody! I just had a great idea this morning and thought maybe everyone would like to help me practice?

Anyways, my family runs a flower shop, so I'm pretty good at making arrangements and stuff like that. And the ships could really use some kind of, I don't know, organic decor, you know?

The plant life here is a bit limited, so there's only so much to work with, but --

[ She turns the camera to face a table in the Three Twins, which now proudly features something like this ]

Here's an example, I just kinda threw this one together now. Let me know if you want one! No charge or anything, I just need the practice. I've been getting super rusty!

Wow! Are those poppies?

[ The mug is actually kind of a cute, rustic vase, too ... ]

I'd be happy to bring you some seeds. I'm Ino, by the way!

... I think that's what the alchemist on the job board said he wanted. [ So probably! ... That might have been how he picked out plants, rather than going for "two of everything". ]

I will find more pots. And I am Asteffiel!

Oh, I see ... it was for a job?

I can bring you some of those, too. I snatched a few in case people were interested in the arrangements.

[ Wait he wasn't clear- ]

The alchemist said he wanted some, so I picked him some. These are for keeping - if he wanted them, they might be important? ... and maybe if he wants some more later I have some to pick right here.

[ She ... laughs awkwardly ...

If they wanted poppy, it was probably for, um, opium ... but she won't say that ]

Well, they would certainly brighten up some of these arrangements, if you have some to spare.

[ Yeah he probably doesn't know about that kind of thing yet. Oops. ]

I will see if I can split them up. [ He already pulled the weeds out of the clump so- ]

Did you find them already grown?

I found them already grown! Not all of them were blooming, though. I just don't remember if there is more than one plant in here?

[ Because there's a couple of flowers in his mug. It could be one plant, but he isn't sure. ]

Hmm, from what I can see it looks like a few different things.

[ Wait, not all of them were blooming? ]

Did you find them awhile ago? Or do you have some type of magic that makes things grow faster?

Only a couple days - and yes.

[ Which is why he's also very interested in seeds! ]

I don't want to do it too much, because then I would need to give them new soil sooner, and I don't have fertilizer set up? It's started, but... [ He tugs at one of his sleeves. ] It takes a while?

[ Oh man, she looks so excited ]

You have no idea how helpful that is gonna be.

...? I know it will help with medicine plants?

[ A little confused - AH, but wait, if he likes seeing plants in here maybe humans will like seeing the flowers in places? Is that it? ]

Medicine, food, all kinds of stuff! I don't know about you, but I'd love to be able to eat fresh food all the time no matter where we are, instead of those awful protein cubes.

Food is tricky though. If I make... I don't know, tomatoes go from blooming to fruit, they taste funny. Like.. weak funny. But I can grow them quicker to flowering!

... I think it depends on the soil, for things like carrots.

Doesn't hurt to experiment. And any kind of help would be great, even if it's not speeding up the whole process.

[ What is one of the biggest problems with farming? Hmmm- ]

... I could make sure all the seeds sprout..

[ ... This will be the next thing. He needs pots and to figure out what all he has, and the fertilizer box Hiro was going to make, and then he can play with how food tastes when he helps it along. ]

See, that in itself is impressive. After that point there's plenty of stuff a person can do to coax it along, but getting it out of the ground is the toughest part.

Thought that was the tricky part!

[ now he has to collect a bunch of seeds for food plants. ]

I'll see what I can find to help experiment.

... At the moment, all I can think of is more pots.
