Tourist May I?
Who: Tourists & visitors!
Broadcast: n/a
Action: The Tourist
When: the month of May!
[ Don't mind the smoke alarm going off in the kitchen. Or the woman frantically pulling a cupcake tin out of the smokey oven. Or the fact that she's doing it with bare hands. Don't mind any of it.

[ Or perhaps you're mingling on the ship at a different time and you miss this baking disaster altogether ]
Ugh! Why can't I get this right?

[Pavel, now into his second month in the Fleet, is really starting to come to terms with this new reality television universe. He still doesn't love his circumstances, but hiding in his bunk and thinking too much has largely been rotated out of his schedule. In its place? Working and stocking the Tourist's kitchen with potatoes, beets, and vodka (the three main food groups). Help him figure out where to stash a hundred potatoes and three bottles of vodka!
Or, you know, run into him doing something else. He lives here, he's around.]
[Kara, Post-Bake-ocalypse]
I have heard that you tried to burn down the ship. Is that true?

Hey man you busy? I need a favor.

[She spotted the bottle he was carrying. She smirked.]
Also probably going to need some of that, if you're sharing.
no subject
[He offered the bottle to her with wildly exaggerated reluctance.]
I'm only willing to share because I'm trying to endear myself to the crew still. Once I'm confident that all of you like me, I won't be so generous. [Not at all true.]
no subject
[She won't take the bottle, letting him hold it for now, as she leans him back to the docks where she's got some boxes piled up next to the shuttle.]
Don't think of it as sharing, I have something perfect for a trade.
[She doesn't comment on if they like him or not. Let him stew.]
no subject
A trade? What is it?
no subject
[Montage of them loading boxes int he shuttle and conning someone into flying them over to the other ship and getting everything out, weeee.]
Come on, it's this way.

You're very bad at answering questions, Chloe.
no subject
Just think of me as mysterious.
[Chloe tossed him a grin as she led him through the ship, but rather than going to any of the big, fancy business, she brought him to a small door between two other places.]
[She tapped a code into the door to unlock it, then shouldered it open and held it for him. Down a narrow hallway was a much larger room which was full of plants on tables in hydroponics tanks. Pot plants, if he knows what they look like.]
Just put the box wherever.
no subject
[Chekov has no idea at all what pot plants look like, but the fact that they are kept out of the way and locked up does make him suspect that they aren't run-of-the-mill houseplants. He puts the box down and examines her set up.]
Are you a botanist? I have a close friend at home who keeps plants... many of his are carnivorous. [He side-eyes the nearest plant. It doesn't look like any of Sulu's more aggressive plants, but you never know. Plants are tricky.]
no subject
[This was all said absently, as she sorted through what she had been carrying on her work-table in the corner.]
What? Am I a- [She burst out laughing at that question, looking at him in surprise.] No way I-
[She paused, thinking about it.]
Eh, sure, why not. I've got this lab augment right, guess that makes me a scientist. I just...am really specialized. In one kind of plant.
no subject
[She's mysterious in a going-along-with-her-seems-like-a-fine-way-to-get-into-trouble sort of way, which is fine. He's cool with that.]
Close enough to a scientist, I think. What is special about these plants?
no subject
[She glances at him, then over at the plants, then back. Don't be such a square, Chekov.]
They're pot plants?
no subject
What is special about that? I'm a physicist, not a horticulturalist.
no subject
Uh. Marijuana? You smoke it and get high.
Most places make it illegal. Or at least, you know, controlled.
[She takes things out of the boxes and puts them on various shelves as she talks.]
I got lucky. Had some on me when I got here. Been working on this fooooor...about a year I guess.
