There's a red patterned yukata that I believe is hanging on the back of my door. [It feels hazy about the last time she saw that, but that's where she usually keeps it.] I can take care of the rest.

What's a captain for, right? [Really just a friend.] How are you feeling? Do you remember everything? [Making her way to Makie's room to retrieve the yukata.]

...I suppose I managed to avoid being "glitched' for a very long time, all things considered. I hope a child underfoot wasn't too disruptive.

[It could have been worse.]

You were great. [Of course people changing like that just make her want a child more and she doesn't know if her life will ever be in a place for that to be possible, but what can you do?] I hope we weren't bad influences.

I don't think that would be possible. [But she sounds amused.] You were all very accommodating. Though I think I much prefer being the correct age.

So you're saying I should have tried harder. [She's probably saying that nothing they did was going to change who she grew up to be given the circumstances, but there's always room for a joke when you're bringing clothes to your naked friend, right?]

Good thing we like you at this age too.

[She laughs softly at that.]

That, I'm glad to hear. Did I miss anything important in this week?

Kind of depends on what you consider important. Vash survived another week of us. [Even though the entirety of the rest of his crew is gone.]

...I wonder why the Aroma saw fit to merge our ships if they were just going to remove the entirety of one crew. [She sees the humour in what Kitty says, but she is curious.]

I wish I knew. I keep trying to apply logic to it, but the trick part is, it might be random.

Yes. I suppose purely for the excitement could also be a reason. [Purely to give us all a heart attack.]

Maybe they just really wanted us to have cake and they don't know how to do something nice. [Probably not that one.] Okay, heading into the bathroom now, Makie. [With clothes in hand.]

Well, cake is certainly a nice experience.

[Said as Kitty opens the door. Makie sits on the edge of the bath with one towel wrapped around her and another over her shoulders, so...it's about as modest as she could get, really. She smiles at Kitty, shrugging very slightly.]

Thank you. I suppose they also found it funny to effect a reverse of their glitch while I was indisposed.

[Well, the mun did, anyway. We're secretly the Atroma, let's face it.]

I'm sure you'll have extra credits in your account for both things. Whether that makes it better or worse is hard to say. [She hands over the clothes.]

Thank you, Kitty. [She vanishes back behind the partition to change.] I suppose one day I will find a use for the credits I'm collecting. Perhaps next place we visit I should take a holiday.

More generally speaking... I don't know. [She steps out now, decently wrapped in her yukata with a ghost of amusement to her expression.] I haven't found a proper replacement for a good cup of sake.

I prefer the other too. A place like the hand-holding planet. [Still her favorite.]

Mmm...maybe we can find some rice and make it happen.

Make our own...? [It's a nice idea, though she hadn't given any thought to it.] I wonder if any on the fleet has the skill.

[She's half amused and half serious.]

I don't, but I can follow a recipe if I had a recipe.

Perhaps I should inquire at the bars. Surely someone there would have the requisite knowledge if anyone does.
