[He can't believe Vash stole his sandwich! This guy's supposed to be his captain?! Now he's just insulted by the thought of this guy being his leader! This sandwich business is serious business! Well, when you're angry and drunk it is! What Chuuya wouldn't give to have Kajii here to turn that sandwich into a disgusting science project!]

The only thing rude is how you rudely startled me!

[What's also rude is that Vash will now be talking with his mouth full while eating Chuuya's sandwich.]

Well, you ruined my sandwich! [He takes another bite.] And sorry! I didn't know you were asleep! The table is a pretty silly place to sleep. [MUNCH!]

It's easy to underestimate how tired you are!

Sometimes you accidentally fall asleep from working hard! It's completely normal in that case!

[He starts to snicker, but hides it by taking another bite of the sandwich.] Maybe you should head to bed then, but ah, I'd wash your face before going to bed. [Snicker.] You know, sort of wash the day away?

[At this rate he wasn't interested in his sandwich anymore, of course, since Vash was eating it. He was too tired to make another one. And he definitely wasn't cleaning up the one he sent flying at the wall. So yeah, maybe he should go to bed, though he hated that he was going to do that now since it'll seem like he is because Vash said so, even if that totally isn't the case!]

Fine. But only because that's what I was gonna do after eating anyway. You know, before you ruined it.

[Chuuya gets up from his seat, but before he walks away, he narrows his eyes at Vash.]

You better not try anything funny when I get to bed. I'll really kill you.

Yeah, sorry about that again! [He doesn't seem to be sorry at all as he finishes off the sandwich with a pleased sound.]

And who me? Funny? Tell you what. I promise from this point now and until after you wake up tomorrow I promise not to try anything funny.

Yeah right. [A huff.] You're starting to remind me of someone I hate from back home.

[God here it comes. Chuuya talks about this guy entirely too much.]

Always playing tricks on me. It's never funny!

Am I? Sorry, I'll try not to be like him then. [He will likely keep acting like that person.]

And I don't think eating your sandwich is so much a trick. Considering if that splat over there wasn't there I would be eating my own food.

[He shakes a fist!]

Well, excuse me for coming into the shared kitchen area to have a meal when I was hungry.

Just in case he was thinking of skipping the wash.] Don't forget to brush your teeth if you're going straight to bed. Not many dentist out here after all.

[I mean, he's going to go do what Vash said anyway. But totally not because Vash said to.]

[Hopefully no one is sleeping, because if they are, they probably won't be in a moment as Chuuya goes to the bathroom and contemplates a shower before deciding he's way too tired to do so right now. So he'll just use the toilet, brush his teeth and dear god what's with the shit on his face?!

[Oh no. He's shaking in his boots if his uproarious laughter is anything to go by from the kitchen. No, really. That's his scared sound.

Of course if he hears his victim coming back down the hall he'll be making a run for it.]

[Vash's laughter was so annoying that it pissed him off even more! Chuuya would love to rid his face of Vash's "artwork," and logically that's what he should do, but what is logic when he's too impulsive, especially when angry. Here comes this little shit shouting and running after Vash!]

I THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BED!

[Vash keeps on laughing as he sprints across the ship. Doing his best to keep at least two rooms ahead of Chuuya. That is until he skids into his own room and locks the door.]

[Chuuya hasn't stopped going after Vash! As if he could let that guy run free! He hated to lose, even fights as tiny as this one!

He places a hand on the door, and it breaks into several pieces.]

I'll go to bed after I kick your ass!

[Chuuya keeps his hand held out, some door pieces floating above his hand.]

What the hell do you think you're doing, huh?! Is this some game you play with new crewmates?! Because I want no part of your games!

[Vash jumps away from the door when it breaks into pieces. He looks at the floating pieces and decides to file that away under: VERY IMPORTANT.]

Well, games and jokes with all the cremates not just the new one, but got it - I won't be doing that joke again. I understand. Crystal clear.

[Or at least no more jokes until Vash can be sure he'll live through the experience.]

[That's all Chuuya wanted to hear. Whether or not Vash meant it didn't cross his mind.]

[He lets the pieces drop to the ground, and as he turns to walk away, he points a finger at Vash.]

I'm washing up and going to bed now. See you later.

Hey! Do you think you could fix my door for me? Or can you only break it? [From the sound of his voice it makes it seem like he just wants a door back. In reality he doesn't care at all about the door. He just wants to know what powers his new crew member may have.]

Oh.

[A head scratch, looking at the broken door.]

I can't fix it. I don't have that kind of power.

[And filed away. Vash looks devastated as he holds up two pieces that use to be his door.] B-But what about my door!? You broke my door and you can't even fix it!? But I need that door! I liked that door!

[He actually didn't care in the slightest, but he's going to tear up like he did.]

Yeah, that's what you get.

[Chuuya holds up a hand as if to dismiss him.]

It's your problem now, Captain Vash.
