Hello again, everyone. Thanks to everybody who reached out to me when I first got here. I'm on the Twin Roses now so if you want to find me, here I am! In the meantime, I guess we should all figure out something to do here. This ship is pretty nice and all but I wonder if there's a place someone can skate? Victor didn't mention any place he found yet so maybe someone else knows a place to ice skate. Or dance. That would work too!

What do you do around here, guys? What's the best thing?

But it's basic practice while we are here, Yuri. And time is frozen back home while we're here. That's like double the time to practice! Once we have a rink, we'll be able to get so much done.

Time is... frozen? I guess that's why you were here for so long while I didn't even notice you were gone. So time.... froze then? How often has that happened, I wonder? How many people from home have been taken here? Or somewhere else? _{[Oh dear, there goes his anxiety again]}

But we can have extra practice that way so... good! Good... we just have to get a rink.

And you know, I hadn't considered the idea that someone else from home was here before. I wonder if that's the case? [He puts a finger to his lips in thought.] Could you imagine Yakov here? Or Chris??

Oh god, what if they were, Victor? I doubt it was anyone we know. Nobody talked about being in space before and I doubt you could just go back to regular life after being here...

Victor... are we going to be okay? _{[Victor will be fine, he's handling this better than Yuri who is taking the anxiety of this fleet like one might take a brick to the face. He just imagined then, what this place might do to them. Could they ever have a normal life after this? He could never forget this place... but Victor was smiling and trying to make the best here and Yuri had better get with it. He won't help anything by indulging in his distress.]}

Yakov... he'd probably yell at you to keep training. And Chris... I don't even know what he'd do. _{[Partly because he didn't know Chris that well]} He'd have a social media presence even here, I know that much.

[Victor isn't really doing fine at all, but he is very good at pretending that he is. What that means, though, is that he understands where Yuri is coming from when he worries and frets.]

We'll be fine, Yuri. [He promises] After all, we have each other.

_{[He is better at faking it than Yuri is and that helps him... but it doesn't mean he's helping his fiancee at all. He sees Victor's upbeat demeanor and knows he needs to do better.]}

We will... I hate to say it but I am glad you're here with me. I'd be a wreck without you and I think you're so brave, Victor, for getting on here so well without me.

_{[He pulls his love into a hug]} I am proud of you... Vitya... _{[he had never said it but he had thought about calling him that since before he won his silver medal. The way Yakov called him that. He wanted to sound at least a little Russian when he moved to St. Petersburg.]}

[Victor is about to say that Yuri won't ever have to worry about being with him for long when Yuri says the nickname and his mind short circuits for a moment there.]

Yuri? What did you just call me?

Ah... .A Vitya... is that bad? I wanted to call you that since I was going to live in Russia with you... _{[And overhearing Russian people call him that, it seemed so cute.]}

If you don't like it I'll stop.

[goldkiss]

No. No. I love it. [Victor says, his eyes a little shiny at it.] You can call me it whenever you like!

You do?? Oh, Victor... Vitya me too! _{[He giggled and threw his arms around his fiancee in a warm hug.]}

I hope I sound authentic when I say it, I am saying it right aren't I? I don't sound like I have a terrible accent?

I love the way you say it. [He grins, feeling a weird warmth in his heart he doesn't have words for.]

But what about you? What should I call you, Yuuuuuri. [He draws out the 'u' sound of Yuri's name almost like a purr.]

Oh Vitya, I want to say it often. _{[he felt stupidly giddy and giggly.]}

Oh I love how you say my name, Victor. You know... in Japanese saying my name with no honorific... no 'san' or 'kun'... and saying my given name, Yuri... it's as big a show of closeness as any. So just say my name. I love hearing it in your voice. _{[he smiled at the almost-purr and touches his fingers to Victor's chin.]}

And I love saying your name. [It quickly became his favorite name, if he's honest. And that was after he had already known another Yuri for years.]

[When Yuri's fingers go to his chin, Victor smiles and then leans a little closer. He wants a kiss, but he's careful to give Yuri enough warning in his movements that he can pull back if he likes. Surprise kisses can be fun, of course, but now he wants Yuri prepared.]

I... <sub>[He says nothing as he closes his eyes and accepts the kiss. In fact, he does one better. He leans in and closes the gap for Victor. No surprise this time, their first kiss was a surprise, he liked having ones that were obvious too.

Though, surprises were still fine... any kiss from Victor made his heart sing. So he kissed him slowly, shyly at first. He put his hands on Victor's shoulders.]</sub>

[Victor put his arm around Yuri and held onto him as they kissed. After a while, though, he pulled back to just look at his face and stroke the side of it.]

You need to get settled in... [He says it gently, trying to make sure this isn't seen as a rejection but as keeping Yuri's well being front of mind.]

_{[He sank into that embrace and sighed. Even when Victor pulled away he felt so safe and loved like this. Loved... Victor was his one and only. His coach, his idol, his fiance... he could scarcely believe Victor loved him. HIM.]}

There isn't much to put in here but... you can stay if you want. Unless you have to get back... thanks for coming to see me.

[Victor shakes his head] I'd rather stay. Did you want to try to sleep some?

Sure... yeah we can sleep. I don't know how great this bed is but we can make it work. Can't be worse than airplane seats right?

[Victor is quiet for a moment and then chuckles a bit.]

Oh, I almost said something rather embarrassing.

[He doesn't actually have shame over it. He mostly doesn't want to pressure Yuri.]
