I don't know about you, but when I encounter a problem that stumps me, or a particularly strange situation ... the first thing I like to do is have a nice, hot cup of tea.

[ He inhales the steam. ]

Something about the flavor and the warmth in your belly makes it easier to clear your mind and focus your energy on what is troubling you.

[ He takes a sip. Ahh, delicious AND comforting. ]

Anyway, you're in space now, which you can probably tell. The people who kidnapped us all are called Atroma. We're here to entertain people across the galaxies on this thing called a television show. It's like watching a play, except you're not actually in the audience.

What sort of entertainment do they expect?

From what I've seen? Anything. Just us doing...whatever seems to do it? We get money for it, to buy stuff at planets and Waystations.

Anyway, you'll have a chip in your head, it's an Augment, it gives you a job for when you get put on another ship.

Has the journey been pleasant, so far?

I guess. I mean, nothing has tried to horribly murder us, or anything.

Most of it's just been annoying.

Unfortunately, life is always filled with annoyances, whether you are traveling through space or not.

Yeah, but most of those annoyances I can deal with in a logical way.

What makes these so different?

They don't make sense. It's not like "oh hey, you're getting sneezed on by an air bison" or "oh hey, a bunch of wanderers are singing stupid songs at you."

This place is more "oh hey, everything is made of Floot Loops" or "hey, let's play with your mind and personality for kicks".
