Who: Jill Valentine
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Heron + Iskaulit
When: July 18th onward
Hey, two questions.
Are there cameras in the bathrooms? And does anyone know a good place to start growing plants? If you have somewhere, I will gladly exchange piano lessons, fighting (and weaponry) assessment and suggestions, or some sort of favor (within reason). I'm afraid I don't really have much in way of cash right now.
Last but not least (not a question), if anyone would care to buddy up for a little good ol' fashioned exploring, then I'm your gal.

So it's probably not best to plant in the ground unless we want a forest of it.
no subject
is it a useful herb, at least?
no subject
Definitely. It helps restore stamina and energy and can speed up the healing of wounds in a variety of ways, depending on how applied. Common it is ground up and applied directly to the wound but it can be turned into a spray or ingested whole (or ground up into pill form to make it more portable).
If it works out, of course, I'll gladly share it. It's an important herb in my world because it's so useful and I'm definitely not greedy!
no subject
if you do decide to share it, i would not mind trading some of my plants as well. i have one that is good for sleep
no subject
Well, thank you very much! I'm sure that's pretty in-demand around these parts. I'll definitely make it available for anyone in case it's needed, I'm just not counting my chickens before the eggs hatch, you know? ;)
no subject
it might be, though people may prefer their modern medicine to a tea that is an acquired taste. i mostly grow it because it responds well to my magic
.... what does any of this have to do with chickens

[ All her plants in her apartment are probably dead. No, scratch that. Chris would've taken care of them. It's a thought that she pauses on. ]
Figure anything that works, works, right? Though the familiar is always preferred to the foreign.
We don't have magic where I'm from.
[ She's really doing her best to wrap her head around all this. ]
It just means I'm not preparing for something I can't guarantee, sorry! Not counting something you may have before you have it.
no subject
i agree, i do prefer familiar as well, but finding that here is oftentimes a rarity. no magic does not surprise me, most people do not have it
[maybe she should switch over to voice or something, she's terrible at this texting nonsense . . . but that requires turning on the voice option and she isn't feeling it]
oh, i see. my apologies some of these sayings are a bit lost on me
no subject
That how it works where you're from? That's pretty interesting. I mean, on top of magic not being a thing already where I come from.
[ Voice isn't really for her. ]
No biggie. I've heard a lot of weird ones in my time.
no subject
it is fairly common. not an every day sort of thing, but most people are capable of basic magic. but people who use it by trade are the ones who spend most of their youth studying it
[voice takes effort, screw effort]
as have i. most i do not understand
no subject
I take it that you spent most of your youth studying it, in that case? Anything that takes that kind of dedication is admirable.
I've got a working theory that most people don't really know what sayings mean and say them anyway.
no subject
yes, up until i became of age. though it honestly is a constant learning experience. there is always new spells to learn and create. it is no different from any other trade one takes up
i can admit i am guilty of that. i use words i do not know the meaning of, but have heard in the context i use them
no subject
I think everyone does from time-to-time, sometimes without even noticing it. It's kind of a nice way to exchange a part of yourself or where you come from with someone, right?
no subject
something like that, yes. though it does earn one some odd looks at times
no subject
Guess that's true, too. At least it's something most people have experienced every now and then.
no subject
yes, though i experience it more here than back home
no subject
Figure that would be because we're all from so many different places, possibly different galaxies or universes. It's an interesting thing!
no subject
at times it is. oftentimes it is just more
no subject
Frustrating? Yeah.
no subject
