Who: Jill Valentine
Broadcast: Fleetwide
Action: Heron + Iskaulit
When: July 18th onward
Hey, two questions.
Are there cameras in the bathrooms? And does anyone know a good place to start growing plants? If you have somewhere, I will gladly exchange piano lessons, fighting (and weaponry) assessment and suggestions, or some sort of favor (within reason). I'm afraid I don't really have much in way of cash right now.
Last but not least (not a question), if anyone would care to buddy up for a little good ol' fashioned exploring, then I'm your gal.

You're interested in gardening?

[ The truth of the matter is she actually has something highly specific in mind considering the contents of her gift basket, but it might be a good way to focus herself. The lingering anger and upset from the past three years isn't going to get to swallow her whole; she won't allow it. ]

I know the garden in the Iskaulit is open for that sort of thing. I spend time looking after the plants. It's calming.

On your other topic, we have a small garden on the Iskaulit, started by several who have now left us. Anyone is free to come and contribute! The only request at the moment is that you are careful around the Memorial Tree, as it is still very much a baby and but recently transplanted.

Much appreciated, then. Is anyone specifically in charge? It's a very particular plant that can spread itself like wildfire, but I'd like to ensure it sticks around.

But hopefully they have left us SOME privacy.
And no, not really. I suppose I am the closest thing to it, myself and the Lady Makie, but she sleeps, at the moment, so that just leaves me. Ah, if it tends to spread, you could look to grow it in a pot, perhaps - I do believe we have some things that might suit.

[Considering she'd been perfectly content to just beat the absolute hell out of most of them, this would not be a good upgrade.]
As for your offer, I would not be opposed to a companion. I have explored some of the Iskaulit already, but I have not yet familiarized myself with it in its entirety.
[Of course, Looma's already on the Iskaulit, decked out in full armor as always, and also completely unaware that the person she's leaving the message for was already running by. It's not like they've ever actually met face to face after all, and this is what happens when you stick to nothing but text communications, Jill!]
both ways.
So you've met our captors then?
[ It seems many have alluded to it so far, but she can find no real trace evidence. It always works best to simply ask about it. ]
Well, I might see you around then! You'll know me by dark hair in a ponytail, blue compression top, grey pants, and a dark blue hat. :)
[ There's not much else to do to Jill's knowledge, though she does wonder why they're outfitted with these occupations and abilities. She tries to make sure she returns to the Heron regularly enough for that case, though she's not even sure what she could do if something were to happen. Keep a panic down, maybe?
She does manage to catch a certain imposing figure nearby, her run into a jog then more comfortable when she falls into place. Even the awkwardness of a meeting isn't going to stop her from (mostly) texting; it's really the only privacy she has the choice to allow herself and though she'd be hard-pressed to admit it, she much prefers being harder to read in this sort of situation. She doesn't know anyone well enough and she's still getting used to being normal again. Jill raises a hand, but doesn't wave upon approach. ]
Oh, hey! Hey. I'm Jill. [ Her breath is steady, even as she speaks. ] We've spoken a few times.

And I'll meet you on the Iskaulit. I've already seen every inch of my ship that I have access to; nothing special at all :p

He runs into Jill in the cargo bay, on his way to use the treadmill for a brief workout of his own. Bucky gives her an appraising glance. Clearly she's crew and not someone visiting. It's easy enough to put a name with a face, since she's pretty much the only woman aboard the ship anymore. ]
Jill, right?

She wipes a little at her forehead from under her hat, dragging her knuckles absently before readjusting it with a faint smile. ]
You just so happen to be. I'm Jill Valentine. [ She has enough sense about her to leave a gap between them and to extend the hand she hadn't just wiped at her forehead with. ] Tactical support; sorry if that's not ideal for whatever situation you're in or your preferences, but I can assure you that I'll do a pretty swell job at it when needed.
omg i'm so sorry this is late, we can handwave if you want
Tactical support is useful no matter how many there are. James Barnes, lab support.
