Seeing Merlan paying special attention to a single plant, Furiosa draws close, already with a small pile of the blue and white soil-like nutrients.
"Looks like someone could use a little help."

Merlan moves carefully to let Furiosa in even closer. Her movements are unwasted, careful, and calculated so that she doesn't disturb any of the other plants.

After a moment, she turns to the other woman. "Are you native? Or part of the fleet?" She's been in hiding, so to speak, long enough that there are more than a few new faces - some of them right on her own ship.

The breeze is nice up here among the green and growing plants. She found the city too much for her, too many things going on. It made her want to disappear but she still went down into that beehive just enough to make sure she could.

She's not been in a mood to be around people, and after having spend most of her life in a situation where there was no escape from it, she doesn't mind never setting foot in the city-planet below outside of finding a quiet ag job among plants.

Plus, what freedom the sky and fresh air offered felt better than wandering the halls of the Bloodsport.

She shifts some more nutrients into her hand and sprinkles it onto some of the other plants that looked like they could use a little boost. "At least you missed the calibration."

Sam's memories were still there, bright and crisp in her mind. She shakes her head a little and the water from the hose nearby twists in the air before settling around the plant where it needs it the most.
It spins intricate patterns in the air as she thinks, a little troubled. It was, indeed a calibration. A vast sharing of incredibly personal, sensitive things.
"I had a few visitors, myself. It was not all unpleasant."
no subject
"Mm. That's good." Furiosa had some visitors, which wasn't a pleasant experience for either party involved. "And at least now we're back. Should warn you, though; this is a yearly thing."
By which she means don't get too comfortable.
