It has a somewhat familiar flavor, but not quite - like a cousin of a bourbon, perhaps, with just enough genetics in common that it could evoke a faint nostalgia. John's, on the other hand, would taste like a spiced fruit. Perhaps mangos, perhaps apples, it was hard to tell. ]}

The drink. [He's sort of used to robots, by now. Been here long enough to run into a couple. Let's hope his drink tastes like apples, because he wouldn't know a mango.]

It's good - trust me. Sits pretty light and humans can metabolize it pretty well.

_{[ He set his drink aside and went down the table to take his shot, leaning over cracking what served as the cue ball, knocking in a planet with several rings. ]}

It's....[A pause, here, while he considers this.] ...Definitely somethin', I guess. Glad I've sort of gotten used to a lot of things before getting here, at least.
