There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either.

Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.

Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.

They were laughing and crying and holding each other tight. They were in their own world for the time being. But the RECEPTION starts now. And that's what everyone really came for. There's alcohol, food in a buffet, and cake . Those of you at the cake tasting with them may notice the flavor you recommended is available as a donut! All of the suggested flavors are availalble, it was hard to decide who didn't get their favorite and what ONE flavor to make an entire cake out of. It didn't sit well with either of them.

Also sparklers There is a table with a few gifts on it, but it contains a large display of long sparklers with matches and a bucket of water saying "Please light up our night!"

SO Have at the reception everybody!

There is a: Dance floor with music booming, a buffet with delicious food and CAKE, There is BOOZE of all types and it's just flowing with no signs of stopping, and sparklers! Also dancing with the bride..... or getting a photo with the couple!

[Velvet is....around. She's still not entirely comfortable with parties. But she was invited, and it's not like there's a lot to do on this planet when she's not terrorizing people by driving a car.

She was even convinced by someone not to wear something tattered and/or black. So she's wearing something actually kind of appropriate, though her left arm is covered by a long red satin glove. And she has her hair done up nicely thanks to Mikleo.

She's not real sure what to do with herself at the reception in general, since she's not inclined to eat much. Though she may seek out the occasional (non-alcoholic, thank you) fizzy drink.]

Did you get enough to eat? There's still plenty left over, and... the donuts too, they're all different. And... well here, if you want a sparkler you can take this one.

[They haven't met but she recognizes him due to spending time in Ignis' calibrations room. Not that she's going to mention that. Because Calibrations is an awkward subject in general and she doesn't want to talk about it, especially in public.]

[She accepts the sparkler when he hands it to her.]

I dunno if they have these where you're from but... it's a fun toy from our home. So use more than one, run around with it if you want, just be careful not to get burned or get embers on your glove.

[She watches it spark to life. It's pretty. She's not sure she'd call something that can burn you a toy, though. Not that she's going to argue about it.]

I don't think I'm going to be doing any running around in these shoes.

[Billy is a big eater, so he's carrying a small stack of donuts. He's slightly uncomfortable in his navy suit, but...it's for his friends. This is a date of celebration. He'll try to enjoy it. And...maybe find familiar faces]

Wow...how's the wedding treated you?

[It's okay. They can be vaguely uncomfortable together. She shrugs a bit.]

Okay, I guess. Considering I've never been to one before.

I'd only attended one when I was very young. But I do enjoy the food.

[He shrugs, spinning a donut around his finger.]

It's beautiful, but I don't enjoy the pressure of formal occasions. Luckily we're through the worst of it?

Yeah. I guess it could have been a lot worse, though. Since they're royalty.

[Royal stuff can get pretty elaborate, after all. Luna and Noctis seem a little more down to earth in general, though, from what she can tell.]

Yes, it could have been hours...but at least it's not extreme rowdiness either?

Despite my suggestion of cake smearing. She didn't seem to like that.

[He smiles just a little.]

[She snorts lightly.]

Sounds like a good way to mess up a fancy dress.

[As the someone ultimately responsible for Velvet not wearing her tattered normal clothing or a black dress, Ignis cannot help but find the lovely woman of his acquaintance and offer to escort her around the party when he can.

He has other duties, after all. Duties from which he is currently returning from to seek her out.]

Velvet, have you been enjoying yourself this evening?

[It's a little extravagant, he knows, but it's what his friend, king and his new wife deserve.]

[At the moment she's holding a sparkler, which she looks up from when he approaches.]

Yeah, it's okay.

[Really, it's not nearly as extravagant as she might have expected from royalty.]

[Perhaps it's the way her hair falls in her eyes or the soft light of the evening.

Or maybe it's the fact that she's just beautiful and there is a certain amount of infectious romance in the air due to the event.

Whatever it is, Ignis can't help but admire and watch her with a slight, fond smile that hides everything he feels about the moment. And the woman herself.]

I must admit that I find myself thinking that Gladio will be upset that he missed this occasion. He loves parties. [And beautiful women. And Noctis.] But I'm sure that Lunafreya and Noctis both prefer this smaller ceremony than the one that was planned before.

[She knows who Gladio is now, thanks to seeing him in Ignis' memories. Calibrations is kind of an awkward subject and this isn't the time or place to bring that up. But at least she doesn't have to ask who he's talking about.

She huffs a little at his comment about the smaller ceremony.]

I don't blame them. Sometimes simple is better.

[The village girl in her definitely prefers simplicity in these things.]

Too bad your friend couldn't be here, though. There's room for one more.

[He would gladly answer any questions about Gladiolus should she ask, but after the peeks she's had at his life before arriving in this strange Fleet, it makes since that she needn't do so to understand him. In a way, it's comforting, but it has its downside as well. Like the sharing of things he'd rather kept to himself.]

I agree, but as they're both royalty, small and simple wasn't an option before coming here.

[Their marriage was to unite legend with flesh and an entire world.]

Honestly, it's his loss for not being here. If Prompto and I could both make it, as well as other elements, then there's no excuse for him.

Being royalty sounds like a pain in the ass.

[She's blunt, but look what's the point of being rich and powerful if you can't do whatever you want. Like having a simple wedding with sparklers and donuts.

She smirks a little at his next comment, though.]

Being royalty means that your life is not really your own. I imagine that if we were to ask Noctis that he would agree with your sentiment.

[Not that Ignis disagrees, but his life is also not his own. Not really.]

He is failing at his job. It's not just laziness. He's leaving his duties to others.

[And not letting Ignis take an actual kingsitting break.]

[When he puts it like that, that makes it sound even worse to her. With everything she and the others in her party have been through the concept of living a life of your own choosing is important to her. The idea of not having that option because of a mistake of birth is pretty unpleasant.]

[Giving Gladio a hard time seems pretty legit to Velvet, even if she's never met him.]

[There is no other way for him to put it. His life, even though he isn't royalty, isn't his. It belongs to the service of his prince—now his king. By extension of this ceremony, it also now belongs to Lunafreya.]

I won't disagree with you, but I believe that duty is extremely important as well.

[Conviction is something that he also has in spades. It's just in a different vein, that's all.]

Shall I leave that up to you? He's more likely to listen to a beautiful woman than myself. I believe that my lectures have long lost their effectiveness with him.

[She actually understands duty, to an extent. In a way. She knows what it is to devote yourself to something. Or someone. She was dedicated to Laphi, to making him better, to giving him a life. And then, later, to avenging him.

It wasn't enough, in the end.]

But it's okay to be selfish sometimes. [She looks back down at her sparkler.] Sometimes it's all that's left.

[His request that she scold his friend makes her laugh a little, though. A quiet huff as she glances at him again. The compliment was delivered smoothly enough that it doesn't make her feel weird or awkward. She just accepts it, and the challenge.]

Sure, I'll take care of it.

[After seeing her devotion to her younger brother before his murder, he's sure that Velvet does understand what he means when he speaks about duty, to a certain extent. Being an only child, he can't really talk about devotion to a younger sibling, but he's seen the way that Gladio is with Iris and he imagines that it was much the same for her and her brother.]

I'm sure that's true for most people.

[In truth, he doesn't even know what that would mean for him. He's never really had time that was just for him. He's always focused on others.]

I've never really had that luxury, to be honest.

[His smile fades and he looks away, but not moving from her side. He knows that she has seen enough about him to know what he means, but it's hard for him to talk about himself like that.]

Just be prepared for him to not take you too seriously. At first.

I have ways of making people listen.

[Her tone is really more teasing than threatening.

Then she tilts her head a little, thoughtfully as she watches the bride and groom.]

I don't see why you couldn't have the luxury here, if you wanted to.

[If Noctis and Luna can have a cute little wedding like this, instead of an elaborate royal one, there's no reason Ignis can't pursue his own interests if he wants. Especially since Noctis will probably be kind of occupied with his wife for awhile.]

I don't doubt that you are very persuasive when you want to be.

[And even though she's teasing and he is in his own way, he is also remembering things that he shouldn't know, things that she probably didn't want anyone to know about her without her permission.

However, her concern over him is touching.]

What in the world would I do? I can't see myself lounging around idly for hours at a time. Can you?

[She looks at him again, raising an eyebrow.]

No, because that's not you. You could do things you enjoy. Visit some libraries, maybe. That sort of thing.

[She's never been a big reader herself, but she knows that Ignis is. It seems like she's always surrounded by people who enjoy reading and research. And it's definitely something potentially relaxing that isn't just lounging idly.]
