There is a wedding on the planet. You may know this because you were invited to this wedding by this little guy and it's a lovely ceremony! You can watch the couple get married, wether you know them or not, the whole fleet was invited.Even if they don't know you either. 

Noctis was in all black and he was beside himself, the time had finally come and after seeing his beautiful bride he couldn't look away. The music was soft yet appropriate. Luna was beaming, holding onto Shiro's arm down the aisle until they were together and holding hands. The vows went on as if in another room. Noctis couldn't quite focus on them, he was fighting getting sucked into Luna's orbit and just kissing her prematurely. Distantly he heard his cue to repeat after the offician and he recited his vows word for word. Umbra had their rings ready for them. When he put Luna's on her finger he felt a tear spill down his cheek. He couldn't stop smiling. The officiant led Luna then and Noctis hung on every word. Her voice was melodic and soft. Then he had a ring on his finger and he felt himself crying again. He just looked at her, he officiant left them through the end, announcing it was over, they were married.

Noctis didn't wait for any cue, he pulled Luna in close and dipped her as they kissed.

They were laughing and crying and holding each other tight. They were in their own world for the time being. But the RECEPTION starts now. And that's what everyone really came for. There's alcohol, food in a buffet, and cake . Those of you at the cake tasting with them may notice the flavor you recommended is available as a donut! All of the suggested flavors are availalble, it was hard to decide who didn't get their favorite and what ONE flavor to make an entire cake out of. It didn't sit well with either of them. 

Also sparklers  There is a table with a few gifts on it, but it contains a large display of long sparklers with matches and a bucket of water saying "Please light up our night!" 

SO Have at the reception everybody!

There is a: Dance floor with music booming, a buffet with delicious food and CAKE, There is BOOZE of all types and it's just flowing with no signs of stopping, and sparklers! Also dancing with the bride..... or getting a photo with the couple!

Reception, 12 years later

[What's a fella to do when he's brand new to the fleet and randomly at a wedding where he knows almost no one? Mingle and eat, basically. Which is what he's doing. And he's... trying not to eat too much, because this is a full party with lots of mouths to feed, but a SOLDIER's appetite is a mighty thing indeed, so even with holding back he probably eats like three or four plates' worth. Sorry, wedding prep. At least you know the food's good?

Since he's broke as heck due to just arriving, he's wearing a pretty basic suit, but his hair's slicked back pretty nicely. (The real trick to looking trim as heck is to imitate the Turks, apparently.)

One of his priorities is to find the bride and congratulate her, definitely. She's Cloud's friend and apparently now Aerith's, and he'd be a lousy guest if he didn't at least meet her.]

[ Once she's done taking care of Lunafreya and her veil - a very important and very serious job, of course! - Aerith heads out to the reception to go and look at other people, dress ready. When she spots Zack her eyes widen and she gazes at him, shaking her head before she reaches over. Leaning up, she presses her hands over his eyes from behind - and it takes some tiptoes. ]

Guess who!

[He'd have to be some kind of clueless jerk not to recognize the sound of her voice, but that doesn't mean he can't have some fun with it. He rests his hands on his hips, tilting his head to the side- not back, just at an angle to make it easier for her to keep her hands on his eyes.]

Hmmmm, who could it be... is that Cloud?

[asphodels]

[ Aerith laughs, shaking her head as she presses herself against his back. ]

Hmm... Don't you think I'm a little bit small to be Cloud?

That's true. He's kinda short, but not that short.

[He loves you both but he tol.]

Let's see, then... what about... Tifa!

[asphodels]

[ She gasps, loudly, dropping her hands. ]

Zack! I don't sound like her at all!

[wingenvy]

I dunno, that's kind of a familiar pout...

[With her hands dropped however he does turn around, winding his arms around her to lift her up and spin her about.]

What an amazing looking surprise, though!

[asphodels]

[ She laughs, her arms wrapping around his neck even as she shakes her head, scolding. ]

I'll tell her you said that.

[wingenvy]

[He sets her back down again by the end of a second rotation, grinning despite her obvious threat.]

Miss Gainsborough, are you trying to get a man in trouble?

[Ignis spots the newcomer to the Fleet over by the banquet tables, partaking of the bounty laid out and has to hold back both a sigh and a laugh. It seems as if this man has the appetite of three men. Much like another person he knows.

With every effort to seem welcoming as he possibly can, Ignis approaches Zack with a smile and the thought of not laughing as he does so.]

If I can go by the way that you're consuming it, I would hazard that you find the food at least palatable. I suppose I should take that as a compliment.

[Zack has the decency to look a little sheepish, though admittedly not by much. At least this guy's more amused than mad. What a good host!]

Oh, did you cook? It's delicious! Seriously, can't get enough of this stuff. I haven't even been here a month and I'm already sick of rations.

[The smile he receives is full of life and sends a bang through Ignis that he's been ignoring. The scarred face, the hair color, the eyes, the obvious bulk of one in the line of fighting, they all remind him of Gladio.

But there is a slightly kinder look to his face than his friend.

Still the resemblance is enough, though superficial.]

I supervised most of the cooking, though I did make the desserts. [They are his specialty after all.] I am glad that you're enjoying the menu.

Which ship are you on? I am actually the ship's cook for First Breath, where the bride and groom are stationed.

[There's something about glasses that just spells trouble - too many scientists in his life, maybe - but they're attached to such a courteous-looking face that Zack finds it easy to ignore the feature.]

I got assigned to the Caprine. Not positive whether or not I'll stay just yet, but the people I've met are friendly enough.

[Wow, excuse. Ignis is a good soul. His glasses are for actual needs, not evil intents. You take that back.]

The Caprine, hm? I've not really met many people from that ship. It seems most of my acquaintance is either on my own ship or the Wonderduck. But I've found that a good deal of the people on the Fleet are nice people.

[He bites back a growl at the familiar flash of maroon hair and scruffy clothing.]

There are exceptions to that, however.

[Zack catches the expression and follows his gaze, trying to spot the source of his anger, since it came on so suddenly.]

An uninvited guest?

[Ignis has to stifle the desire to sigh heavily as he watches Ardyn approach Noctis and Lunafreya. Honestly, were is Gladio when he's most needed?]

Not exactly. I believe that Lady Lunafreya invited everyone. [But he seriously doubts she wanted her killer present at the wedding he stopped the first two times from happening.] However, it's likely that he's only here to cause trouble. It would fit with his modus operandi thus far.

Well, if you need a couple of strong-arm ruffians to play bouncer, Cloud and me are both here. We'd be more than happy to lend a hand.

though Luna is apparently his friend, so he doubts it would be a problem.]

[ Luna has been a busy lady, she's been trying to greet people and thank them, while also tending to her new husband whom has not been letting her get too far. But Noctis is busy with a glass of wine at the moment, so Luna is on the move. It isn't hard to point out someone she hasn't met before; he looks nice in his suit and his hair all slicked back like that. So she is quick to approach him, the smile she's wearing widening as she takes in all the food he's eating. ]

Good evening. [ She hums, tilting her head to the side slightly. ] Thank you for coming, are you having a good time?

[Even if he hadn't been at the ceremony itself, he'd have known who she was; who else would be dressed like this at a wedding? Immediately she gets a bright smile and an uplifted hand.]

Hey! I'm having a great time, thanks for inviting everybody like this. Oh, and congratulations!

[ Luna's smile merely widens as she comes to stand at Zack's side, pleased that he seems pleased enough. She's glad everything is working out so well today, that they were able to get hitched without too much of a hitch, and everyone seems to be having a fun time. ]

I am glad to hear it, and I am also pleased that everyone came. I know many people are not exactly into this sort of thing. [ Her cheeks turn the faintest shade of pink, and she brightens even further. ] Thank you very much! We are both happy that everything has gone so well.

Well, getting invited doesn't mean you have to come. Hopefully anyone who would end up a wet noodle about it decided to stay home. Looks like it's a pretty good turnout though, yeah?

[He doesn't know the exact number of people in the fleet, but the area sure as heck isn't empty.]

Agreed! And yes, I am actually quite surprised by how many people actually showed up. But I'm glad... I think everyone deserves a little happiness and fun every now and then, especially here.

[ She and Noctis weren't exactly expecting a big turn out, and so they're both extremely pleased. ]

No argument here. For some people this is kind of a second chance.

[Sure is for he and Aerith, that's for certain.]

Yes... yes, it is. I know many people are angry with the Atroma, but I cannot bring myself to despise them because of that very reason. If it were not for them, Noctis and I certainly would not be having this wedding.

[ She's not going to go into too much detail about that, of course, because some memories are not worth dredging up right now, especially at her own wedding. But she knows full well what Zack means. ]

Ah, forgive me, though, I am being rude. It is a pleasure to meet you, my name is Lunafreya.

[wingenvy]

[He can recognize the implications of that- she, or Noctis, or both of them are dead or unable to go back for whatever reason. It's tragic, but it's a situation he's all too familiar with. He's not about to ask. Why ruin such a lovely occasion with that kind of talk?

Introductions are more important, so he smiles brightly, offering up a casual salute.]

Zack! Nice to meet you, too. You guys have pretty fancy names on your world, don't ya?
