Floot Loops
Who: Jack Sparrow and Anyone
Broadcast: Yes, unfortunately.
Action: It COULD lead to action on Kayann, which is where Jack is at the moment. It's much better than being stuck on the Bishop with Looma and mean people who hate Jenga. (Looking at YOU, Pidge Gunderson.)
When: Later in the evening of the 16th.
"New fruity floot loops
Slooping in a groovy suit
Gloop 'em in a new boot
Or sling 'em in a pie.
Rooty-tooty floot loops
Drooping in a blue soup
Mooping in some newt poop!
Floot Loops til we die!"
[It's a poem. Jack wrote it. And now he's reciting it over and over again. To you.]

[The pirate fumbles in his pocket and produces a flyer, which he gives Maglor a close-up view of. It promises modest compensation in return for participating in a Floot Loops focus group and taste-testing party at Building 473, 81st floor, Room 238.]

[ And he will be heading over to try and locate that room ]
Ah, no... [ His voice can be heard outside ]
I am merely looking for a friend, perhaps you've seen him...

The key, Maglor, is not to eat the Loops. Enter, if you dare. The door is open. Jack is at the table. He is bound to his chair with leather bindings. A little blood trickles from the corner of his mouth. He's tried to sneak out too many times.]

Wonderful to see you again!

[ Maglor murmurs, and glares back at the presenters, pouring some of his own menace back at them, eyes starting to flicker with silver fire ]
He is unwell. I am taking him back.
[ So softly polite, his voice, but threat laces through it ]
action
Maglor! Mind the zappy sticks! [Jack warns.]
action
He is unwell. If you continue to force this, he might well die or become otherwise severely incapacitated.
[ Almost sweetly ]
I don't think our sponsors would like that very much.
action
Right! What he said! Incapacitated!
[Hitch. Hitch.]
Right. Tase him into submission, team.
[That order comes from the scrawniest tech. But it is one particularly burly volunteer who comes forward to tase Maglor.]
action
And then he smiles, and there is nothing friendly about it. ]
I do hope, [ He says, voice light and lilting ] that your bosses won't be too upset when you... break the merchandise~

[The tech aims his weapon squarely at Maglor and, with a wicked smile on his face, tries to tase him.]

But self-defense on the other hand...
The minute the tech pulls the trigger, Maglor is moving, inhumanly fast, sliding out from under the wires, Song on his lips and vibrating the air around them. More than one person will wince, hands going up to their ears as he takes what he learnt from the Raiders and applies it here, twisting their minds with his Song, even as he moves to take the tech who tried to tase him in the throat, although he does him the kindness of using the hilt of the knife he had in his boot, and not the blade. Even so, he probably crushed his voicebox. ]

The tech crumples and the others shout in anger, fright, and indignation. There are cries of "Grab him!" By now Jack has gotten himself untied, because he is rather good at that if there is enough distraction around him, and he picks up the chair as a weapon.]
Fie upon you, foul focus freaks! Maglor and I hate your bloody loops. We want your blinding loops to DIE in a FIRE!
[Maybe he should not have done that. It perks up all of the focus group members under the spell of the loops, and they rouse angrily, like Loop Zombies. Now lots of people are mad at them.
Escape routes include the door Maglor came in by, and possibly they could break the glass of the two-way mirror. The door is blocked by the angry crowd, but the window is free. Jack will throw his chair at it if Maglor wants to stave off the oncoming attempts to attack and subdue them.]

And the noise is useful, clearly. Many of those who come within a certain distance of him have to stop and wince, clearly discomfited by the noise and reacting to things that aren't there.
And Maglor is happy to stave off attacks until Jack can get that window smashed, ducking and dealing blows of his own. He's not trying to kill ayone. Yet. ]
