She glances over as well, watches as the ghost scans a (probably cheap, generic) framed painting on the wall, gathering info as if he needs it to make some sort of database... Some habits die hard, she guesses. She shakes her head. ]

He's fine. He actually really likes this planet, for some reason. Keeps flying off to scan stuff.

It's interesting here! They have so many common rituals and superstitions in their everyday lives, it seems mostly unconscious to them at this point! -- Also, thanks for your concern, but it's okay, I don't drink! Erm, can't drink. Though I admit, If I could, I'd be very curious to try.

In a way, I guess! [ If floaty balls could shrug... Anyway, he does scan the bottle, gives a bit of a thoughtful hum as he finishes, bobbing in place. ] So, I'm detecting a compound in here that I think was intentionally added to give it a... "smoky" taste, no matter how long it was aged...

[ Jayden snorts. ] Smoky's one word for it, sure. [ But she's sipping at it anyway, so whatever. ]

[ HEY it's a good thing in the long run! And besides, it's not like Jayden noticed, so he's pretty much off the hook~ SO YOU KIDS HAVE FUN NOW BYE! ]

Prisoner tourists. [that's a new one. but you know what, that shit's depressing, and that's not the vibe he's going for. not that aizawa makes much of a habit to go for any particular vibe........

THIS IS. he's being stupid. so he heaves a sigh, knocks back his second glass and drinks that too before leveling an even look at jayden across the table. just come out and ask, stop being such a teenager about this eraser] I'm not good at this...thing. [whatever this thing is.] Just trying to spend un-monitored time with you for once. Do you wanna take the rest of this bottle somewhere else? [because honestly it kind of smells terrible in here.]

[ She snorts. Yeah, that is depressing... But she's not gonna think about it. She'd rather just enjoy spending time with him, not thinking about the Fleet, or any of its bullshit.

She's knocking back the last of what's in her glass when he heaves that sigh, and she's concerned for a second, but when he comes out with that... Ah. Yeah. Got it. And she actually smiles a little - amused, and honestly, kind of relieved. The direct approach is nice. ]

I'm no good at it either. [ She nods. ] I've been staying off the ship just to get a break. Nice place, not far from here. Bet they've still got plenty of room. [ And it absolutely smells better than here. ]

She stands too, and grabs the bottle. Pretty sure paying the tab isn't gonna take long, after all. ]

For god's sake, Price, [aizawa says, rolling his eyes though he can't quite hide the grin on his face as he turns away and heads for the bar.

he comes back with a handful of whatever they consider to be bar nuts and pretzels and offers her some. don't think about the germs, just eat]

[ Hey, that reaction was enough for her - she can't help grinning, either. And she does take a few of those pretzels, thanks. ... Okay so they're slightly stale, but you know, that's probably par for the course for this place. ]

aizawa holds his free hand out for the bottle. pass it over] Question. And I want the truth on this one, be straight with me.

[ She hands it over. But she looks the slightest bit confused for a second - far as she knows, she's never not been truthful or straight with him. ]

[ She kinda glares at him, but the effect is completely lost by the grin she's trying-but-failing to hide (because it is funny). She also lightly socks him in the shoulder. ]

[whistles lowly and takes a swig before passing the bottle back over.] Then I'll be right back. Text me your GPS, yeah? [because they're gonna need some shit and he doesn't exactly walk around ready to get laid]

[ Yeah, neither does she. At all. She takes the bottle back, and has a swig as well. ]
