Mingling with the Fishes

Who: SS Blue Fish and Anyone visiting!
Broadcast: MAYBE???
Action: SS. Blue Fish!
When: After the Shuffle to...idk whenever

[Welcome new crew and visitors to the SS Blue Fish! There's been some additions to the crew, some grievous losses and some activity as they prepare these finale days to leave the planet of Mor. Don't mind the two cats and large amounts of meat being stored. Since Blue Fish lacks a pilot, the ship can still be found docked in Mor's volcano until they leave the planet for anyone who wants to drop by for a visit!]

[In other words, get in here and mingle!]

[Reaching out over the counter she gives him a reassuring pat on the hand, her brow still furrowed with concern. Before she can say anything else, though, a timer goes off.]

Oh! The dough should be done rising!

[She stands and goes back to the bowl of dough and removes the cloth. Having decided the dough has risen satisfactorily, she gives it a good, hard punch.]

[Taking the ball of dough out of the bowl, she plops it onto a cookie sheet. Rifling through a couple of drawers, she emerges triumphantly with a rolling pin.]

Would you like to help me roll out the dough?

Never too late to learn! And it's pretty simple. First [She scoops out some flour from the bag] you need to sprinkle some flour on the sheet and on the rolling pin so the dough doesn't stick too much. [She goes ahead and does this, adding some to her hands as well.] And then, you flatten the dough ... [She uses the heels of her hands to flatten the dough into a vaguely circular shape.] Then you just [Taking the rolling pin by the handles, she starts to roll out the dough] roll! Always go from the center out, and keep rotating the dough to keep the shape fairly even.

[After demonstrating the technique for a little longer, she holds the rolling pin out to Allen.]

Ready to give it a go?
