[The feed turns on and it's clear Anders has barely just arrived on his new ship as there's still some confetti in his hair he has yet to brush off or pick out. He's clearly on the move, however, as the hallways of the Bishop move behind him on his way to the Med Lab.]

Right, I need to take some inventory: there was a greenhouse on the Iskaulit that held some medicinal herbs, if anyone knows, has it been maintained? [Maker knew if Hermione were still around, he'd really had yet to even check who was still around.] And, similarly, there was a smaller herb garden in the cargo bay of the Twin Roses, is that still there?

[He pauses as something occurs to him and he gives a wry smirk.] And, in my haste, I shouldn't be so rude, my apologies. I am Anders, a healer from Thedas. I imagine my store of potions from before is long gone, I intend to get started on more. If anyone has need of any potion in particular, please feel free to speak up, I'm more than willing to make whatever it might be.

[Assuming he knew how to make it or something like it, but his skill with herbalism wasn't something he took lightly.]

[Riona doesn't hope to see familiar faces anymore. She just keeps praying that the ones she does know don't get taken away. When she checks the network these days, it's to keep on top of things and ensure there's nothing she needs to respond to.

But it seems Atroma is throwing her a bone or two today.

A post by a very familiar name pops up on the feed, and her heart seems to stop. She can't believe it. Of course, she opens it up, and lo and behold, there's Anders. Getting right to business, as it were. Whatever other questions he might have, he seems to be putting them aside for the moment and focusing on the more mundane. Not that she poo-poos his healing and his job as a medic/healer, oh no. It just doesn't take much for her to understand why he's choosing to focus on that.]

I'm afraid I'm not sure about your garden on the Roses. But I could use a potion. It's a peculiar kind: a potion of endless hugs. Do you think you can manage one?

[Ahahaha yes, let's just make a light, cute joke and focus on not breaking down and crying because she's gotten a friend back after having lost so so many.]

[His heart lurches into his throat as her response comes through along with that familiar, lovely, face. He isn't able to maintain his composure so smoothly in the face of relief knowing she's still here.]

Well, what do you know? I happen to have just that potion on me right now. I believe a house call can be arranged...where are you?

[He didn't know anyone on this ship, last he knew, and Hawke certainly wasn't on it which was the biggest issue with it.]

I think welcome back? [Seeing as he's not to sure people really do get sent home or not.] And yeah! Your plants on the Twin Roses are doing great! Well, I may have over watered them slightly at the start, but they're fine now!

Vash! [There's a bit of relief mixed in with his happy response. He didn't necessarily think Vash would be gone, he seemed almost a fixture to Anders, but there was always the possibility.]

I'm sure you did just fine, most of those kinds were plenty hardy enough to survive a little extra water. Some like the Spindleweed and blood lotus variant can't be over-watered.

Would you mind if I came over to harvest some and look in on it? In exchange, I'll be more than happy to restock your med lab with new potions and medicines.

I'm not certain yet, it will depend on if this ship already has a healer on board and if there are any that do not; while everyone on the Roses will always have my healing at their disposal, I'd rather be someplace that my skills are needed.

A pleasure, Maglor. To be honest, I'm not certain what plants are in the gardens, I always felt they were a little off-limits as ingredients, seeing as I didn't plant them myself.

[He pauses, something occurring to him.] I believe you knew my partner when we were here last, Adalwolfe Hawke? He spoke fondly of you to me.

Milady Beverly always said it was shared space! I think that so long as you do not take too much, and you make some effort into the continual upkeep or gathering of more, it is certainly not a trouble.

[Mantis can hear him making the broadcast and it does not take much for him to want to be right in thick of things lately. He walks up calmly to Anders and keeps his arms folded behind him.]

[Anders pockets the device, intending to check it later, after he's perhaps surveyed the ship and gotten more familiar with it.

He can't say he was expecting any sort of welcome wagon, usually he'd always just stumbled across new shipmates himself, he expected the same. This man either had very impressive timing or miraculous luck. Either way, Anders offered him a smile.]

Thank you. Would it be strange to welcome you as well? I'm simply returning to the Fleet, it seems, after a long...[Rest? Absence? Catatonic state that lasted months? The theories were still swirling.] break.

Our ship is getting very crowded lately.
