They usually wear tights for some reason. I don't think that's obligatory, though.

I don't need a whole room. In Skyhold, I stayed in the rafters.

It was where they stored things for a while. There was a bit of wind sometimes. But the walls around the outside of Skyhold kept the strongest wind out.

Well, so long as it feels like home, I suppose anything works.

I don't have a home. It's where I kept my armour and knives when I was in Skyhold.

I can get that. Homes aren't for everyone.

I don't really know what home is meant to be. Cadash used to say "we'll go home" but she meant Skyhold, and I don't know that that is anyone's home.

Well, sometimes they say 'home' when they mean 'the place we're staying at'.
