[Kitty is still in her bedroom where she's been for the past two months when the video opens.]

If the timestamps I'm seeing are right then I'm surprised I don't have a long beard by now. That's a Rip Van Winkle joke for any of the non-earthlings who think maybe I can grow a beard.

So, I'm Kitty Pryde for anyone who just showed up. Just so you know I still have seniority over you. I could take your lunch money any time I want. And hi. Any new mutants? Maybe some Avengers who should be mutants, but they aren't because timelines are funny that way? [Wanda and Pietro were strange, okay?]

I haven't flipped through much of the network yet. Feel free to do a roll call. Let me know you're here—new, old, returned, twice baked, whatever. Did I miss anything fun? Maybe some birthdays? Oh, right, like mine. [She picks up some pretty and unusual stones and nudges an illustrated physics book. She speaks softer.] Maybe someone remembered.

[Scrolling through some old network posts and her eyes widen slightly.] Maybe I missed something not so fun...

[Her body feels lethargic and uninterested in all this moving she wants to do. But she's been out of commission and she feels the need to catch up. So she'll be looking for crewmates and visitors.]

What do you think you'll figure out? [She's not sure if there is something she's missing since there are probably a lot of things she's missing. But as far as she knows there's nothing to figure out. They're controlled by mysterious overlords who don't exactly have their best interests at heart.]

There were other dreams, and they didn't happen with this planet. But the one I had did. And maybe it's nothing at all with the other two dreams. Maybe they were there to throw us off about this one. Or, maybe there's something to it and we have two more planets to save. But, it won't hurt to look into it and see what, if anything, we can do.

[Those people down on the planet? The ones that they hadn't been able to save? They had died, and it had been pretty horrible. Keith had experienced it through his dream. And he didn't want the other dreams to come true if they could prevent it.]

Wait, what were these dreams? [Steve mentioned dreams of incoming disaster too, but he hadn't had them personally.] I feel like I'm dropped into a story in the middle.

Oh. Well, about a week or so before we got to the planet, a bunch of us got some weird dreams. It seems like there were three different ones, and everyone got some words, like small pieces of a message that we have to put together somehow.

And that planet? It was a... what did they call it... a 'singing' planet? I don't know. I've never felt something like that before... with that... song thing... going on.

Right. We've visited singing planets before. They're odd. [Though science minded as she is and lacking any mystical sensitivities, she never reacts as strongly as some do to them.]

Have you talked to the others with these dreams and tried to put the words together? Did it mean anything?

Odd is the nice way of saying it.

[Keith hadn't liked it... at... all...]

We've been trying to gather as many as we can. Ezri had been helping on some, and Sam was gathering some, too, and I have a few. There was a young girl that seemed to get a lot of the words... like way more than anyone else.

I'm just not sure if it's three different messages or one big one. Nami mentioned that you've gotten weird messages before, though. She said it sounded similar. Like a warning or cry for help.

[His board on the Huntress was getting crowded. A visit to the Iskaulit's lecture hall to compile things and make some room for himself was due.]

I don't remember anything like that coming through dreams, but she's been here longer. [And there was such a long time when Kitty wasn't interested in the games here. She may have ignored something that matched because it just felt like a hoop they were given to jump through.] We did get messages through the communications system though.

Are you thinking they might have come from someone other than the Atroma? [She always assumes it's the Atroma.]

I don't know if it was a dream specifically. She just said about a message. [Keith shrugged.] Either way, it sounded similar. There's definitely a message in the dreams we got.

I'm not really sure where or who it's coming from, yet. Because it wasn't specifically people who have special mind powers or anything that got them, some people think it came through the augments.

I think it has something to do with the ships... the ones like the Marsiva. Nami said the last message like this was from a downed ship that was very similar. And, right after calibrations, there were weird glitches on the Marsiva that people were seeing things I don't think we were supposed to be seeing... stuff involving the workings of the ship.

I just can't really prove any of this, yet. It's just a theory.

Yeah, I saw something like that on the Marsiva during calibrations too. [Even know she doubts herself even though she wrote herself a message and reads it to herself regularly, it's hard to hang on to the memory and now it's just the memory of the message, not what happened.] At least I think I did.

Yeah. I don't remember any of what I saw directly, but I found stuff I wrote down and tried to draw in this notebook I had. And, I do remember writing it and all that, but I don't remember actually seeing what I was writing about.

Does that make any sense?

It does.

I wrote it on my arm, but I transferred it down. I couldn't remember what it meant until I saw Vash finding something I couldn't see. And I had to remind myself of that a lot to remember it happened.

I wonder what it all meant. Is there something that's malfunctioning somewhere? I wasn't around for the previous round of calibrations, so I don't know if something like that happened that time, too.

I wasn't here either. No one mentioned anything similar to me, but there are only a handful of people left from that time and they don't always mention every detail.

It was probably supposed to look like a glitch to make us think we'd found something promising. [She always assumes everything is just part of their game.]

It could be that, too. [Keith honestly wouldn't put it past anyone that this was just all part of some game somewhere. But, he wasn't ready to give up on figuring things out if it meant they could find a way home.] Either way, it helps to share information. We shouldn't keep things to ourselves if it means potentially getting ourselves out of here.

I can send you what I wrote down. It was mostly about my ship. [And Winn. She's not sure if she saw more and those are the only pieces she wanted to remember exactly, thinking the rest would stick around. She assumed so though. Why else write it down at all. She didn't know it would fade.]

Alright. That can work. [He'd avoid mentioning putting it up on his board because he got made fun of by Cloud for that.]

[Serial killer board? Is there red string connecting push pins?]

How have you been otherwise?

[There might be... and some other colors...]

As well as I can be, I guess. You recovering okay from your... coma thing... whatever it was?

[This is how it starts, Keith.]

So far, so good. I didn't expect to be in one, but I really didn't expect it to be so long or during something so impactful. [Pause.] Really, really, really no pun intended.

[He nodded, and then winced a little at the unintended pun, though not until after she mentioned it. Keith hadn't even considered it as a pun until she brought it up.]

Yeah.

Well, it's good to have you back.

Did you miss me? [Smiling.]

[He smiled a little back.]

Of course.

[That was the right answer, right?]

[She laughs lightly.]

Liar. [Of course it was the right answer.]

Well, good to be back. Hopefully things will calm down for everyone now. [Ha. ha...]

Yeah. Hopefully. Try not to fall into another coma for a while, okay?

[He gave her a small, slightly smirky smile.]

I'll give it a week and then no promises. [She smirks.] See you around, Keith.
