_{[ The video opens to Kirk's bedroom, his hair damp from what one would hope is a shower. A small curl has escaped against his forehead. He doesn't look particularly grim, but he doesn't seem overjoyed to be awake either. ]}

Good morning, everyone. Looks like I'm finally awake. For those who don't know me or possibly forgot I was here given how long I was alseep, I'm James Tiberius Kirk, captain of the Tourist - but just call me Jim.

According to my first mate, I've been asleep for a month. And I've missed quite a bit, as it turns out.

_{[ He took a breath, his voice sounding a touch guilty, even though going into a coma wasn't his choice. ]}

I would appreciate a check in with everyone, especially my crew - new and old members. And if anyone wants to talk, I'm here.

[ Action - Tourist ]
_{[ Awake and showered, now he needed coffee. Coffee and a real meal. There had been... distractions, before now. He made his way to the kitchen to see if he could coax the coffee maker into being kind and cooperating for once, and that done he took up a spot where he could look out at the stars gliding by - and hopefully catch anyone else coming and going.

Once he had finished the coffee, he would start a walk around the ship, looking to catch anyone he hadn't already and get a feel back for her. ]}

[ Action - Iskaulit ]
_{[ More than anything else he craved exercise. Whatever Atroma did while they were in their comas had kept off any major atrophy, but his body still felt tight and unused. It was certainly uncomfortable, to say the least, and after being told of what had happened he didn't want to be caught in anything less than prime condition.

So the Iskaulit went to avail himself of the facilities, running long laps and then switching to weights and back again. If he saw anyone he would talk, of course. He might even slide into the bar at some point. Most professionals would say that going for a drink after waking up from a coma wasn't the best idea, but considering what he had been told? He thought it a necessary medicine. ]}

_{[ Smarmy brow arch is smarmy. ]}

[He chuckles, shaking his head. ]

Nah, I'm not desperate enough.

Or you're worried you can't and you'll lose face.

_{[ It's an obvious goad and he knows it, but his smirk says he's
interested to see what Crowley will do. ]}

My, do you want to pull my pigtails too, while you're at it?

[He's calling you out on that goading, Kirk.]

Pigtails? That explains a few things.

_{[ His eyes flicked down towards Crowley's crotch because yes, yes he
did just take it there Crowley. ]}

[Crowley's eyebrows raise above his shades. ]

Felix never complains. That said, I'm not technically anything, I just happen to be inhabiting a male body. So it's probably less of a goad than you were expecting, so sorry to disappoint.

_{[ He shrugged, neither embarrassed nor goaded in return. ]}

You still haven't actually proven anything. All I've heard is a lot of talking. Maybe that tongue of yours is starting to tarnish, eh?

I don't need to do anything. I'm the living embodiment of temptation. I'm that little voice that whispers in your ear to do it, whatever that 'it' might be. My tongue's doing just fine.

_{[ He looked Crowley up and down and then ever so slightly cocked a
brow as if to say - you sure about that? ]}

Trust me, I never need you or anyone else in my ear whispering that to me.

[Crowley flashes Kirk a grin with teeth far too sharp to be human. ]

Oh, I know that already. You practically do my job for me- all by yourself. I'n very impressed.

_{[ If they were supposed to scare him, Crowley would need to try
harder. His job was literally dealing with aliens, so a few sharp incisors
wasn't enough to impress him. ]}

And you haven't sent me a gift basket yet for my hard work? So ungrateful, Crowley.

[That was not the response he was aiming for, no. He chuckles at the comment. ]

You humans. Always wanting more. It's like you think the entire universe always owes you something. Not that I'm complaining mind you- it's all part of the temptation deal. You lot wanting all the time.

You'll have to work a lot harder to get a gift basket from me.

More adventure. More to life than crawling around on the same mudball all my life. More handsome demons buying me drinks and whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

I am very greedy, Crowley. I've never fought that part of my personality.

_{[ He smirked and sipped his drink, winking at the demon. ]}

Better watch our or maybe I try and snatch you up too.

Nice to know you're aware at least. Know what you want and all that.

[He'd point out that any other demons from his world would absolutely not be whispering sweet nothings in his ear, and would more likely be finding ways to poison his soul entirely- but why ruin the good mood?

He laughs, leaning forward, amused.]

Oh? Do you mean to tempt me, James?

_{[ Maybe they would be. Maybe they already had. Maybe James Kirk had
already beaten them or nearly fallen or who knew what else. Even if they
were real, Kirk wouldn't blame them. His grin widened when Crowley leaned
in, continuing to keep his glass up coquettishly in front of his lips.
]}

Well, you're here having drinks with me, aren't you? I would say I've already tempted you a little, Crowley.

[Crowley would argue there's plenty of good soul left there. He knows these things. The demon lets out a pleased hum. ]

Oh, if only you tried to tempt me a few years ago. We would of had a lot of fun, you and I. I would see every little sordid desire in that pretty head of yours and act on it before you even realised.

[There's a flash of gold from behind his shades as he leans forward to tap aforementioned pretty head. ]

Hmmmm~ Long, slow and rough. Getting fucked right into your captain's chair, very much out of control of the situation. Surprisingly common that, for men in power, being dominated. Having someone screwing them senseless while their power is taken from them. Getting used and bruised. Hmm, that would have been a lot of fun.

[He sits back with a chuckle. ]

But, alas. It's not to be. I'm spoken for. That ship has sailed.

_{[ Something cold slithered down Kirk's spine as Crowley spoke, recognizing his own fantasies, especially considering his closest partner. It wasn't so much the airing of his fantasies, his desires -he was open enough with those most of the time. It was Crowley pulling them out of his head - without his permission.

That was something he held sacred in his world, the knowledge you were safe in your own head.

With a soft clink Kirk set down his drink, pushing up from his chair.

Between one breath and the next he was up on Crowley, shoving the demon's legs wide and thrusting his hips against Crowley's. He arched his back so their chests touched, one hand dropping to grip Crowley's thigh and the other snaking behind to grip his neck. He brought his face in close, so close their noses almost brushed. ]}

Do you expect me to deny it, huh, Crowley? That I like men with big hands and bigger bodies? Or men who can push me down and keep me down and fuck me until I can't breathe? Older too. Dominant in the ways that count.

You seem like the sort who would enjoy being on the other side of it. Controlling. Manipulating. Whispering those tempting things and not delivering. Or maybe you're scared you'd enjoy it to much, hmm?

_{[ He stroked the hand on Crowley's thigh, pressing hard into the flesh. ]}

[Crowley had expected a reaction, of course. That was the whole point of temptation, pushing and prodding and goading until someone reacted the way you wanted them to. Honestly, he's rather pleased he can still do it- it's always been a bit touch and go, in the last few years. Probably living away from Hell softening him up or something.

Still, he's rather surprised Kirk reacted so strongly. He marks that as an interesting little quirk. It's a shame, but it is interesting. A deep chuckle escapes his lips, though he doesn't encourage any further contact, his hands remain where they are, not touching Kirk. ]

Never said anything about you denying it. Quite the opposite in fact. And you are counting on me having the same desires as a mortal, there. [So close- Kirk will be able to see those eyes of his he hides under his sunglasses all the time. Yellow with vertical slits for irises. Snake eyes. Absolutely not human. ] I enjoy what my partner enjoys. Feeding into their desires and seeing what comes into fruition from that. I don't need one particular thing to get my rocks off on.

[Suddenly, he vanishes in a puff of black smoke- hope you can catch yourself quick on that now empty chair, Kirk. The demon himself re-materialises, sitting on his bar, legs crossed idly. ]

But, as I said, I'm spoken for. And unless he's worked out an incredibly complex method of shape shifting, you are absolutely not Felix- so no ball, I'm afraid.

_{[ The disappearing act was a surprise, and Kirk did have to catch himself quickly on the edges and back of the chair. Luckily, he wasn't entirely surprised by this ability - thank you Kurt - even if he had not known Crowley could perform it. If he had needed confirmation Crowley was not human other than the way the man talked about himself, that was it.

He huffed and pushed himself up, smoothing a hand through his hair. ]}

Looks like we have more in common than you might think, Crowley. Surprised you didn't pick up on that.

_{[ A soft humming noise left him, a debating sort of noise. ]}

You never know - we never did get a complete rundown of what Khan could do, so maybe I have a few surprises left to uncover from his donation.

[He's always full of surprises. Crowley remains where he is, curious, but not getting down. Kirk has got a little too handsy after all. Best keep out of reach for now.]

I'm a demon, not omnipotent. I can't pick up on everything, you know.

[Donation? Well, that sounds creepy. Former lover, perhaps? Always hard to tell with Kirk. ]

So. Are you going to explain what that means, or do I have to try and guess?

I would prefer if you didn't try that trick again at all. I realize you are a demon, but that doesn't mean you're devoid of manners.

_{[ AKA, please don't do that again.

He pauses, as if debating actually making Crowley guess. Ultimately he decides against it. It felt to macabre and gallows humor to play a game of Rumpelstiltskin with the other. ]}

About three years ago now, I died. I was given a blood transfusion from a super soldier named Khan after I was put on ice, which revived me, and now here I am.

_{[ He motioned to himself and shrugged. Surprise. ]}

Duly noted for the future.

[People are so touchy about other people reading their minds, gosh. ]

...Huh. So you're not completely human? Because you look pretty human, but I've been wrong about these kinds of things before, so-

[One day he'll tell you how he raised a human he thought was the Antichrist for eleven fucking years ok. ]

No, I'm fully human. Khan was a genetically altered human - faster, stronger, smarter - but he was human.

_{[ A little shrug. He didn't seem particularly passionate about the subject, but he wasn't shying away from answering the questions either. ]}

[He makes a thoughtful sound. ]

So you were basically upgraded after you kicked the bucket. And now you're alive and probably a bit shinier because of it, hmm?

Don't know about upgraded. I was certainly put back together that's for sure. But like I said, you never know.

Maybe my hair has been a little shinier since then.
