[He'd never thought about it before. He's been on the Tourist since he arrived here. He supposed he took it for granted. And wow, is he prepared for a Hawke doing a Hawke no matter what. It's just a fact of nature, really.]
I will learn to live with it. I'm...assuming neither of you actually picked here, then?
[Which is what he'd been concerned about- because that would have been weird. ]
no subject
[Could have been worse. He could have been plopped down with an entirely new crew of strangers to get attached to and then disappear on.]
I hope you don't mind. I know you like your space.

[Seriously, Atroma. Why do you have to be this way. He shrugs, a little uneasy. Perhaps Adalwolfe doesn't know yet, and if he doesn't, that means he will...eventually. That's going to be messy and Fenris is not looking forward to it.]
It's...fine. You're not sleeping in my room, so I suppose I can live with it.
[Such ENTHUSIASM. ]

[Adalwolfe laughs at the absurdity.]
It sounds like you'd rather we be literally anywhere else. What are you hiding, Fenris? Bodies under the floor tiles? Usually you just leave those strewn around.
no subject
[He's amused, at least- not taking offence. ]
Kirk doesn't like me killing people, so there is a distinct lack of bodies.
[Going to avoid answering the question directly, yup. ]

[Sometimes a dude's gotta die so you or your own don't meet that same unenviable fate. What Kirk doesn't know won't hurt him, if it comes to that. Hopefully it won't, but considering where he and Fenris are from. Well.
Basically, he'll help you hide the bodies, Fenris.]
Best to keep them off the floor anyway, lest they stink up the place.
[It really is all a pleasant - if morbid - joke to Wolfe, though with Fenris' deflection, he's now a little curious if the elf actually is hiding something other than a distaste for not having a license to kill. He doesn't bring it up just now though. Fenris has always been taciturn. It could be something very simple and private and none of his business, after all. Like an uncomfortable rash.]

[You are a good friend. No one will ever know any better. There's so much SPACE to hide bodies in, it'll be fine. ]
They do get rather rancid after a while.
[It's good Wolfe gets this. He appreciates the lack of prodding. If he can, he'll avoid it as long as possible. He has no doubt it won't be a fun conversation for them when it finally happens. ]

[He turns sideways in his chair, one arm draped over the back of it.]
Really though, it's... sort of nice being on a ship with a mix of old and new friends instead of all new faces.
no subject
[That and they were convinced a rabid animal lived there. That helped, too. ]
Hmm. You do not have to try and get to know everyone here- it is largely catching up.
no subject
[He's just teasing. It's a fun thing he's decided he can do at Fenris now that he knows for sure the elf isn't going to maim him for existing.]
That's true, though I do like to know who it is I'm sharing living space with. Or... bathroom and kitchen space, anyway.
no subject
[He misses you girl, you're the BEST. ]
True. I have found the people aboard the Tourist to be largely friendly. I like them, anyway.
[Which is saying a lot, coming from Fenris. ]
no subject
That's high praise considering how often you like people.
[It's not meant to be disparaging, more like friendly ribbing.]
I do see what you mean though. I've met Jarvis and Pavel and they're both very nice. And Kirk, of course. Who else do we have on board?
[Tell me what you think of our crewmates, Fenris.]
no subject
[It's his home and he's snuggly and content here.]
There's Kara- she's very pleasant, does the best she can for everyone. Kitty very often visits, she may as well be an honorary member of the crew. Claire is new, but she seems pleasant enough.
no subject
[More teasing, but the mention of Kitty brings a smile to Wolfe's face.]
Right, Kitty. I ran into her earlier actually. She was my captain before being reassigned. Well, co-captain.
no subject
[He loves his crew a lot. ]
She's a good woman. She was uh... in a relationship with one of our crew, hence why she was always here. He left, but she still comes to visit-and honestly, she's more than welcome to.
