Tourist Mingle
Who: The crew of the Tourist! or anybody who might visit.
Broadcast: Probably not
Action: Anywhere onboard
When: The week of 29Mar-04April
[All things considered, the Tourist is a fairly quiet ship; it seems most of its crew keep to themselves. What happens when they do happen to bump into one another, though? Let's find out! A chance encounter at the coffee machine, an awkward meeting in the shower, or maybe just killing some time in quarters, let's show the Fleet how the Tourist keeps it real.
[Your captain has purchased some fruit at the market on Mor and has generously deigned to share, so there's a selection of apples and oranges and a box of strawberries in the kitchen for the taking! Don't be greedy, though!]

She won't say that, though. It's not an option she likes.]
He may transfer to Dorian's ship to be closer to him, if there's room.
[They can hope that, but it doesn't really solve anything in the long run.]

[ Solas breathes out, relaxing, drawing Cole closer, before - ]
Or I could move. I have no particular connection to this ship and would be more than happy to make the adjustment if it meant that I was able to be closer to the two of you.
no subject
[He exhales softly, letting his mind relax.]
She smells like home and whispers familiar words, my heart is warm and fuller for her presence. It feels nice.
no subject
It would make painting my room easier on you if you didn't have to take your paints back and forth.
[And then Cole does his thing, and Jove's smile turns softer as she rubs Cole's back.]
There's something I've missed hearing. Was that one about me?
no subject
Then I will look in to it. I would rather be close to the both of you than far apart on another ship.
[ With people that would hurt Cole. He bristles a little before he looks over at Jove. The words... They strike something in his chest and he hesitates before he breathes out. ]
It must be. You do hark of home, da'len.
no subject
Yes. Home, heart, hearth, harkening back to before, before it all went wrong.
[And then Cole just falls silent. He knows to keep Solas' secrets.]
no subject
Went wrong?
no subject
A mistake in my youth. That is all, Jove.
[ And that should be the end of it, as far as he is concerned. ]
no subject
You could come live with us. I don't need a bed. Or food.
I'm going to miss Dorian. He was nice to me before. But now I've met Jove, I like you, Jove.
no subject
And I like you, Cole, but you don't have to give your bed up. There's plenty of room for Solas without you losing your bed.
[And the part about Dorian is too sweet, so she'll just clear that up right away.]
You won't have to worry about Dorian, he'll come visit as often as he can.
no subject
[ He turns, drawing Cole closer, a gentle squeeze before he breathes out, ignoring the feeling that prickles on the back of his neck. Cole knows too much about him and Solas wonders how long it will take until he has to intervene again. ]
I will put in for a transfer, then, shall I?
no subject
[He probably means something innocent by that statement.]
no subject
Shut up.]
I don't think it would come to that, there should still be plenty of room.
[And now she's thinking about what it would be like to share a bed with Solas. Wonderful.]
no subject
We will be fine. We will share my room, Cole, and Jove will have hers, with room to spare.
[ He glances over at the woman in question, noting her expression, her smile, and he ignores his own thoughts, wondering about hand holding, about bed sharing... Ah. ]
no subject
I should go and meet other people. And meet Varric again.
no subject
At least she manages to catch herself against his arm and his thigh and nowhere more... awkward. Creators help her.]
Ah-
[And she's eloquent, too.]
no subject
Solas blinks, shocked, very surprised by it, but she moves quickly, adjusting a little before he moves his body and moves to sit up a little straighter. For a long moment he isn't sure what to do with his arms, his body feeling tense and tight before he forces a smile, shaking his head. ]
Are you alright?
[ It's all he can do. ]
no subject
no subject
I'm fine. I think if I can survive a mountain falling on me I can live through careening into a handsome elf with a little help from a spirit. You know, Varric probably has a book that starts this way.
no subject
A handsome elf, hm?
[ His eyebrows raise. ]
no subject
[There's not point in being shy about it, it isn't like she didn't give Solas plenty of compliments in Haven and then in Skyhold. And anyway, Cole had shard some of what Solas was thinking, so it only seems fair to put them on even ground.]
You're really going to transfer to our ship for him, aren't you?
no subject
[ He is still so close to her and he hesitates before he relaxes, his smile soft before he nods his head, glancing out over the rest of the room, the bare walls with soft charcoal marks; more for him to do but waiting for his hand. ]
There is very little I wouldn't do for him.
no subject
[She's looking around the room as well, now that she's thinking more about his moving and less about nearly landing in his lap. It's very blank in this room.]
I think you'll be fine.
no subject
I did say I didn't carry much.
no subject
What were you going to paint here?
