[With the tragedy of Lyuku and the entire Eyuzi system behind the Fleet, the crew of the Blue Fish and their friends are now settling into a new routine while they drift along in the relative safety of space.

As one of the few ships that didn't suffer a loss of crew during their little excursion, the crew can safely go about their duties, unless something attacks that is.]

I suppose so. I mean, they're meant to be ridden. And they jump like forty, fifty feet high. Not much for flying because they're so big, but they glide well over distances.

[Honestly, the Chocobos are not the worst things.]

They've got terrible attitudes if they're upset though.

[ Okay, so, like a horse, but a bird? So a horse-sized bird? That still sounds kind of terrifying! But at least if they're meant to be ridden they're probably not like, vicious. ... Right? ]

I mean, yeah, if their birds, I can believe that. I've met some pretty mean birds.

Yeah, I mean, they're also really good companions. There used to be a park with a whole attraction built around them. Kids would flock from all over the place to see 'em. It was a long time ago though. They sort of went wild after that.
