[With the tragedy of Lyuku and the entire Eyuzi system behind the Fleet, the crew of the Blue Fish and their friends are now settling into a new routine while they drift along in the relative safety of space.

As one of the few ships that didn't suffer a loss of crew during their little excursion, the crew can safely go about their duties, unless something attacks that is.]

[ Yep, open invitation! Eithan almost never minds company, honestly. And he grins at the applause, a little bit embarrassed by the unexpected audience, but he does give a sort of theatrical bow~ As well as one can manage while sitting, anyway. ]

Heh, may as well! Can't say I've written any songs about the fleet yet, but I bet I could come up with somethin'.

There's bound to be plenty of inspiration aboard the ship. Some of us were born to be muses.

[ Like yours truly. Dorian moves into the room a bit more. ] Have you been here long?

Eithan sets the guitar aside, shakes his head. ]

Yeah, too long. Little over a year now. [ He sighs, shrugs a shoulder. ] Though some have been here longer, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. [ Hah. ] And you're new, right?

I've been hearing that we could be kept here for years. It's not a particularly hopeful scenario.

[ He can't help himself, he's investigating Eithan's room.]

Only new in the sense that I've recently arrived.

Yeah, you heard right. I'm not lookin' forward to seein' just how long they feel like keepin' me, if I'm honest.

[ Investigate away~ Eithan apparently doesn't mind. It's pretty standard, for the most part. The only things that really stand out are the stuffed-full bookshelf (and there are still a few more books on the desk and floor), and his desk. There are some crystals sitting there, in various sizes, shapes, and colors - a small number of the are even glowing with magic. ]

Heh. Well, welcome to the madness. [ Have a sweeping gesture~ and a bit of a smirk. ] Who knows what'll happen next - or whenever, really.

[ Well, he certainly can't help the siren call of books, now can he? They're far more interesting than the crystals, even the glowing ones. For the time being, anyway. ]

Yes, I rather got the theme of spontaneity since arriving. It can also be said for anything in life, really. Who expects to see something quite like that, after all.

[ Quite few of those are fiction, from various worlds. (He's been here a while, after all.) The rest are reference books - about magic, about planets, crystals and structure, some more supernatural things... Yeah. He's inherited a lot of stuff. Whoops. ]

True enough. Life in general doesn't really give one much breathin' room either. [ Shrug. ]

No, it rather does not. [ A pause, where he turns to face the guy whose room he's invading to give a small bow of greeting. ] Where are my manners? Dorian of House Pavus.

[ To be fair, it's hardly invading when the invade-ee doesn't mind~

A proper house introduction, though -- it's pretty automatic the way Eithan slips into his own noble habits, straightening his posture just a bit, so he can return the bow - as well as one does while sitting. ]

Eithan - first son of the Paine family. Not that we're from the same world, I'm willin' to bet, but still. Pleasure to meet you.
