[Were this anyone else, Crowley would have very quickly exited the conversation. Felix is one of only two mortals who gets to know the real story. He turns off the video feed to turn and look at Felix- no one else gets to see this.]

Lucifer. He was the favourite y'see. But then the Big Guy, he went and created humans and suddenly Daddy had a new favourite and Lucifer kind of saw his arse about it. The humans, they got to live in this paradise and the Big Guy just watched them and went on and on about how wonderful they are. Lucifer started to talk to the other angels. Started spreading discontent. Why were we second rate, now these strange little naked monkey people who were made out of dirt and ribs were around.

Discontent lead to rebellion, which led to war. Anyone who had questioned the whole 'divine plan' thing were chucked down to Hell. Regardless if they fought in the war or not. Didn't matter. You'd Doubted and that was a big angel no-no so off you went.
