When: Probably today, but like forwarded to take place when it's super late. It's another 3am type broadcast that he doesn't think will reach anyone when it goes up, but is willing to have people respond to when they are awake at a decent time - or not at all. Insomnia!Gil is the worst.

[The video starts with a model of a ship in the forefront. The name Tempest on the side of it is clearly visible. In the background is the engine room to the Blameless, and then a stock of red hair comes into view before Gil's face follows it.]

You know what we need? More model ships. Of the entire Fleet. You know, you could have one of the Iskaulit which is bigger than most of the others. One for the Marsiva but the rule is you only get to play with it once and then never again.

[He grins at the idea.]

The model of the Blameless would be the cutest. I'm sorry to say for the rest of you lot. That's just the facts.

And this one would be the prettiest. [He picks up the Tempest and makes to fly her around in a single motion of his hand.] But she's one of a kind. And mine.

Why do I get the feeling you'd have some fancy socks?

If by fancy you mean 'made of wool in a color that isn't hideous' then yes.

[Gil chuckles a bit then.]

Well, I went and made things a bit awkward. Socks, Gil. Honestly... Super sexy talk that.

[ Maker help him, Dorian laughs. ]

You get fellas awkwardly throwing themselves at you all of the time?

Less so recently, but I'm not unfamiliar with the notion.

Well, my presence isn't exactly looked on positively in the South, despite my being in the Inquisition. [ A tragic side effect of the job, really. ]

Then we should make sure it's looked on positively here.

So far, no one's scowled at me or muttered curses, so the experience has been more than pleasant. You're all quite welcoming.

That the sort of thing Southerners usually do?

Among other, less desirable things, yes. People are quick to judge what they have very little concept of, save rumor. An Altus mage, confident in magic and surrounded by it since birth, stuck in a place where magic is feared and looked down upon. People believe that mages- particularly ones from Tevinter- all practice blood magic, willingly sacrificing elves or children for evil purpose.

[ Somehow, he manages to stop himself, clearing his throat. ]

It likely doesn't help that I am also a Necromancer.

[Gil is about to compare it to biotics, when Dorian shares that bit and for a moment Gil is mouth opened and just sort of looking at him.]

Are you really? Like... zombies and everything?

That is the common misconception. It's less about raising the undead and more about binding the spirits that are attracted to death. Naturally, there is far more to it than 'I bind spirits into helping with combat'. I can also use my abilities to terrify whoever happens to oppose us, as well as turn them against their brethren.

[ He honestly cannot help the smirk as he explains. Not many really understand his craft, or are too afraid to ask due to stigma. If they were in Nevarra, this wouldn't be quite so odd. There are truly not enough necromancers. ]

It also works quite well with time magic, though in a much smaller range.

Fuck... [Gil says, in an impressed sort of way.]

[ He absolutely preens. ]

I'm certainly no lightweight. I like to think I more than hold my own, at this point.

I find that terribly hard to believe. I see you as the terribly strapping man that comes dashing in with the type of weaponry these blasted things are equipped with.

[He laughs gently] Oh no. I'm really more of the equip the bad ass hero and stay behind on the ship sort of guy.

However will I go on now, knowing the valiant hero would rather stay on the ship?

[ He puts the back of his hand to his forehead dramatically. ]
