[Natasha is out picking up supplies. Seems like a good time to stock up n things they won't have in space.

She's also out picking up something to eat herself—some of these stalls have something very similar to perogies. Seems like an all right lunch, all things considered.]

[Most of it is unfamiliar to Thor, which is to be expected - they are on another planet, and Asgard's food was pretty homogeneous due to its size. Unfamiliarity never stops him trying things though. He smiles easily when Natasha comes up, turning away from the skewers he was looking at for the moment.]

I am - I've just finished work, so now seems a good time for it. What about you?

It's what I'm here for. At least for the moment.

[She glances at the stall, offering a crooked little smile.]

Maybe afterward I'll get something else useful done.

The day is still young. Especially with the two suns here - night doesn't last so long. Did you have something you were working on?

Mostly seeing if there's any supplies or weapons worth picking up while we're here. Never know what we'll have next time around.

Both worthy causes. We still have some meat from the last world stored on the Blue Fish, but it won't last much longer.

[Thor himself is responsible for both bringing it in, and demolishing half of it.]

This world has much more choice though. The crafter's hall is a good place to start for weapons. I've seen some good pieces there.

That so? If you have anything you want to show off, I wouldn't mind having a look.

[She and Thor don't exactly have the same taste in weaponry, but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate whatever he might have picked up.]

Or has nothing struck your fancy yet?

I haven't bought anything yet, though I am thinking of putting in an order for a sword. The one I took from Lato'li isn't the best make, though it does the job when needed.

[You take what you can get when fighting the hordes.]

There are a couple of swordsmiths at the hall who have good work on display.

Just make sure they don't try to overcharge you. Some of these places we stop in on aren't above squeezing the tourists.

[Because that's just rude, honestly. And not something he would have thought of immediately. He'll have to keep an eye out for that kind of dishonourable behaviour.]

I won't buy something that isn't worth the credits. It isn't as though I need it.

They might not. I haven't been in yet, and even if I had... I'm not so much in the sword market.

[Sidestepping that she hadn't thought of him being in it either.]

I will be cautious then. If nothing suits, I can always ask Sokka to make something instead.

I can't say I have bought one before either. I've used them more often since losing my hammer, but they were always taken from someone else first.

You could always get another hammer. Wouldn't be the same, but more like what you're used to.

Or you could always get a gun, if you want.

Ah, I could. But I don't much want another hammer at the moment.

[Right now he wants to put distance between himself and what his old hammer really stood for. He grimaces a bit at the mention of a gun.]

I have a whole armoury full of the things.

Is that your augment? Security?

It is, though I haven't put it to much use. Thankfully there has been no need except for my first couple of weeks here.

I'm glad you haven't had to. Honestly, the augments don't mean all that much most of the time. Though when they do, they do.

And they are ever-present even then.

I can use the guns of course, but I prefer other weapons.

Well. Hold out for something you really like. It's worth it.

[And the god of thunder probably doesn't need firearms at the end of the day anyway.]

Any sword I get needs to be worthy of my hand, so I will.

[Thor had almost forgotten why he was out here to start with, but he remembers now. Turning back to the stallkeeper, he points at the skewers.]

I'll have half a dozen of those. [To Natasha:] Do you want any?

[Additional ones. The six are for him.]

[Natasha doesn't even bat an eyelash. She's used to big eaters at this point.]]

Have you been to either of the other planets in this system?

Thanks. [She step to the side, angled to face him with the stall behind her. She can keep an eye over his shoulder that way. Habit.] Not much yet. Cap's interested in checking them out. I'm not in a hurry, though.

I haven't been to Ebrion, but I have spent time on Philias. I can see why most people choose to live away from it during this time of year. The heat would get to anyone after a while.

[Thor can cope, but it's still not his favourite environment to be in.]

It's like being on Muspelheim again, only with fewer dragons.

[Thor can seem surprisingly normal, sometimes, especially as he's spent more and more time among humans.

Now is not one of those times.

Natasha laughs a little.] Hopefully fewer dragons is none. We could use no dragons.
