[This time the video is very brief. Kaname smiles at the camera with Q-Lulu positioned in front of it. She looks at the mercat and opens her mouth before suddenly stopping, smile leaving her face. There's another moment before she reaches over and turns off the feed, expression troubled.
A few minutes later, a text message appears.]
People have had strange things happen to them here, right? Sudden changes. How long do those usually last? [Another moment follows, then another question.] Has anything not gone back to normal?

[Following that, for the rest of the week, Kaname will be going about her usual routines. However, anyone who runs into her may notice she more withdrawn and not singing at all. Running, dancing, working out, grabbing a bite, the singer is solo for all of these.]

Well, I'm part cat now, so you could say strange things happen. [Remember her from the time she was drunk and also not at all a cat?] About a week? Or more or less which is probably not the most helpful. Changing back kind of depends on what caused it in the first place though.

Strange things can have different causes. It might be an augment malfunction from the Atroma, but it could be someone's powers doing something unexpected or maliciously. Or an effect of a plant we're on or near. I mean, not right now, but at other times.
You're probably thinking of a right now thing though, aren't you?

There it would only last one day and be done, but it happened a lot more often. Usually a couple of times a week?

[She shrugs.] Wasn't much we could do about it. We were all trapped under an impenetrable dome. We tried to organize and find ways to overthrow them, but it wasn't exactly a level playing field.

[You shouldn't, but she'll go there anyway. Maybe it will even be helpful somehow. She isn't the first person to go to more than one of these places and maybe Kaname will wake up in Marina or somewhere like it someday.]
Woke up one time fully believing I was married to a friend of mine. He did too. Spent the day in love and living together and when we got our memories back the next day...awkward doesn't exactly cover it.
Those were the rough ones when they played with our minds and our hearts.

That's awful. Here it's under the pretense of entertainment. Was there any excuse like that?

Rehabilitation. If they were claiming to do something deliberately it was all in service to making us better citizens instead of the criminals they claimed we were. They also hid behind saying the dimensional stabilizer was glitching. It was basically their equivalent to the augments, but not jammed in our heads.

There's more time to get to know people and people from a wider variety of backgrounds. [Not that the X-Men weren't extremely diverse in a lot of ways, but they were all mutants with a common cause too.]
