[This city make Fenris uneasy- he knows he's not the only one, not by a long shot. Anything abandoned that quickly has to have something unfortunate underlying it all. The fact that everything resets itself is only more cause for concern. Is it some kind of time loop? Were he in Exsilium, that would have been his first thought.

He can be found on the days while they're here, wandering around the system tense- muscles coiled and ready for a fight at every turn. He doesn't indulge in the free offerings, and gives heavy glares to anyone who does so in his presence. He avoids the movie theatre and carnival on principle, but he might be tempted over there, if the right person were to ask.]

[Fenris can't remember the last time he actually made a post on the network. It's not something he tends to do, he rarely uses the blighted thing at all, if he can help it. He's never been one for drawing too much attention to himself.]

Has anyone else observed the changeover yet? I attempted it last night, but it went by far too quickly.

It reminds me of Exsilium. After the nuclear winter. When everyone was dead.

What's a nuclear winter? And why was everyone dead?

[Oh boy, he wishes she hadn't asked that one. He pauses, frowning, trying to find the best way to voice it. ]

Well. First there is a bomb- a nuclear bomb, they make it by- [no, let's not make it complicated] well, there's lots of science involved, but it's a very dangerous bomb, because it releases radiation- which kills everything living within a certain area where it's released. Miles.

A nuclear winter is the result of one of those bombs going off- that's what they call it, when everything is dead, and everything just freezes for a while. Because the dust from the bomb blocks the sun- killing anything the radiation didn't get.

Maker... who would come up with such a thing? And to think someone willingly used it on other people...

It is supposedly a weapon to absolutely and completely win a war. We...managed to go back in time, to undo it all, but time travel is tricky. Not everyone in the city was saved.

I understand wanting to win a war, but at that cost? That's barbaric.

That was United Earth's way. They wanted to win at whatever cost. No matter how many lives were ruined in the process. They were monsters.

You always seem to know the loveliest people, Fenris.

This is all rather depressing to talk about. Have you explored the town much? Creepy emptiness aside?

It's a talent of mine. Not an especially pleasant one, but a talent all the same.

I have, though I don't like it that much. I greatly distrust all of this. We've had a couple of quiet starsystems- we're overdue something awful happening.

Yes, an amusement park. They are usually somewhat entertaining. The rollercoasters are normally safer than they look.
