[ So the weekly shuffle has happened. We got new captains, people who have mysteriously disappeared-- I mean, who have never existed, and new people aboard the ships. That's exciting! Wow! ]

[She's trying not to laugh at him... but she can't resist. She puts her face in her hands and giggles a little bit.]

Well, it's not a sickness or an injury, so my body doesn't really have... anything to heal...

I've been here before... the town we were staying in got bombed into nothing, so until we fixed that, we had to be in space. We were on the moon...

I had just gotten back from a long mission I went on with my teacher... who's here, by the way, you could look him up... and we were home for a long time and then I came back... and I slept a lot and didn't think about it. That's what I did.

[She ducks her head but lets it happen. She didn't even really see it as depressing, lately. She's been sleeping a lot these days too. It's a good way to adjust to a new place as far as she's concerned: well-rested, if nothing else.]

His name's Gin... he's a real snaky guy... he's kind of mean, but actually he's okay.
