[ So the weekly shuffle has happened. We got new captains, people who have mysteriously disappeared-- I mean, who have never existed, and new people aboard the ships. That's exciting! Wow! ]

[ New people, get acquainted with your ships? Press all the buttons? Introduce yourself like a polite individual? Old people, keep aging? Welcome them with open arms and confetti? Punch the person who just opened the door while you were in the shower??? ]

He's a real quiet type, pretty short, pretty sour, and his sense of humor is terrible! [She laughs. You get the idea that it's not the kind of thing Hange finds all that upsetting at all.] But he's a hell of a soldier!

I'm not sure when the last time was that I saw him smile, and he has this really unusual way of drinking tea. [She just continues divvying up cards...] I bet you'd get along charmingly with him.

It's because of his hard-luck background! The poor guy saved up his pocket money so he could buy some tea to enjoy and a nice teaset to enjoy it in. Then when he picked it up by the handle, it broke and spilled his tea all over the ground, and since then it's been his habit.
