[ The response makes him falter, thinking about his own reasoning for it. He thinks back to his dad and the questions he asked those that joined their group. How many walkers have you killed? How many people have you killed? Why? Everyone has their reasons for what they've done, and Carl knows the questions were his dad's cautious way of feeling someone out. Not being so suspicious of everyone as he had been before. ]

Because I think you're a good guy. Bad guys don't want to change the way things are.

[ Loki barely controls the flinch. You could be more. Debatable. Sentiment. Maybe he has changed. Maybe he can't tell. ]

[ Loki can't fathom that idea. To some degree, he can and a lot of the old paranoia has melted away in the face of Hela. His new status. The fact that he was never disowned, despite his father's words. ]

Knives, mostly. I had a pair on me at all times but it was confiscated when I arrived.

A Beretta. It's a handgun. I've used a couple different ones before but that one felt better.
