time to be heroic or something
Who: Ochako & you!
Broadcast: Yes!
Action: Yes!!
When: Now and throughout the week
( starstruck )
[The camera clicks on to Ochako, who is in full costume for once! Sans the helmet, at least for now. It's tucked under her arm. She shuffles from foot to foot, waves, and then bows slightly.]
Hello everyone! I have a request. Would any of the fleet's engineers be able to make something for me? Like, um. Rocket-y? I heard about there being a jetpack a while back... so something like that is what I'm looking for. And if you know anybody who can do that sort of thing, please ask for me! All I know is maintenance, so I'm kinda useless when it comes to making cool gear... I can collect parts, though, if you need anything from the planet!
Oh, and I'm not asking for free! I can pay if you want money... well I don't have a lot but maybe I could pay over time? I can also cook for you and your ship, or bring my little bots over to clean, or... we can work something out!
[She pauses to think for a moment, puzzling over what she might have forgotten, and then-]
Right! The other thing! Is there anybody with super-strength who can help me practice? I want to try a few things that I can't do on my own.
Thanks, everybody!
( iskaulit )
[Ochako's in overdrive today! And all week, really. She's discovered the parkour course and is running through it, over and over, only taking small breaks between to catch her breath and get a drink. She's practicing activating and cancelling her Quirk in quick succession, using her temporary moments of weightlessness to launch herself into higher jumps over the equipment than her small legs would normally allow.
Sure, it means once in a while she loses control and faceplants spectacularly, but that's what practice is for!
When she isn't practicing, she'll be wandering around the Iskaulit, poking her head into rooms less-often visited to see what's changed, or tidying up the art therapy room she likes to visit since it's been mostly abandoned for a while now. She'll be all over at sporadic times.]

Okay, but what do you think is heavy? I've found that that's subjective, not objective.
no subject
Ooh, good point! Hmm... I guess for me, without using my Quirk, around 25kg and up? Anything more than that would be pretty unwieldy to throw a good distance!
no subject
Quirk? What the heck?]
25kg? That should be doable. What are you doing this all for?
no subject
no subject
[What are you talking about? She doesn't sound pleased about the thought of throwing rocks at people.]
And does it have to just be things thrown at you or do you need to train your actual reflexes?
no subject
no subject
[What? She is trying to be nice to someone who isn't so annoying. It's not like she's bored. Or influenced by Sorey. Not at all.]
And if you don't see me, that's normal. I'll see you.
no subject
[!!!]
Oh! Are you... a seraph?
no subject
I take it you know Meebo and Grampveid. Yes, I'm a seraph.
no subject
I dunno what a Meebo is, but I know Zaveid! I heard his voice when we were making a snowman one day with Fie. And I'm friends with Sorey, too!
no subject
So, you're saying you can't actually see seraph yet, but you're friends with Sorey. Well, that helps. I won't have to repeat myself and you won't freak out if a large rock starts floating in the air.
Are you coming or not?
no subject
also FLOATING ROCKS that's her kind of dealio. Her excitement is not going down any time soon.]
Sorry, sorry! I'll be right there, sit tight!
[No lie she is zooming over there as quick as a shuttle will carry her. It does take her some time to find the mountain, because what the heck since when is there a mountain on the Iskaulit, so when she finally arrives she ends up gawking at it.]
Whoooaaaa... it's like a whole park...!
no subject
However, Edna is waiting on top of her mountain for the girl, booted feet kicking as she twirls her umbrella in impatience. She's not left waiting too long, however, so that's why she bothers to comment.]
It's not as impressive as my mountain back home, but it'll do.
no subject
Ah! Wait, you're...!
[She scrambles her way up the little mountain until she's standing face to face with Edna.]
I can see you! It's you, right!?
no subject
Just how much time have you been spending around Sorey? I don't remember seeing you before now.
no subject
Well, I haven't been on the Huntress a whole lot... but we go adventuring sometimes, on new planets! It's been a really long time, though. I didn't think I'd ever get to see a seraph!
no subject
You're not missing a lot. Just plants. And seraph. And that Sansa girl and her wolf.
If you don't have resonance but spend enough time around us, you can build it up. Of course, this place speeds that up a lot.
no subject
Yeah, Sorey mentioned that! I guess my resonance or whatever finally kicked in, maybe because of Gramps. That's so cool!
no subject
You call him Gramps? I bet he loves that.
no subject
Only because Fie does. I think it's kind of funny- she says he's an old man, but he doesn't really sound it.
[He sounds like one of her teachers or something.]
no subject
He's as old as I am. But not as smart. I don't know Fie, but you can thank her for me. Grampveid needs to be reminded of his age.
no subject
Oooh, Grampfied is a good one, too! I'll remember that. I'm Uraraka Ochako, by the way. What can I call you?
no subject
You may call me Lady Edna. [It's what Alisha calls her, after all.] And this is my mountain.
no subject
no subject
I'm an Earth Seraph, as is my brother. He, Mikleo and I created what you see. And if you go into the tiny grove, there's a breeze that Dezel made.
[She pulls her parasol back up so that she can keep her cool facade. No one is going to see her breakdown over the Sharkface.]
You met him before he left, right?
