001; we're off to never never land
Who: Baku and you
Broadcast: yes
Action: The Caprine
When: now!
accidental broadcast;
[when the video begins, it focuses on a fairly large creature, sat in the cargo bay of the Caprine. It's sat on its hind legs with one paw raised in front of its face, claws flexing almost curiously. It then sighs, a bemused look crossing its face]
This isn't good. [it murmurs; for those who are familiar with Baku, her voice comes out of the giant creature, along with a deeper, more growly tone.
It's then that it notices the device, and with a low growl - that could be similar to any number of different animals - a big paw comes down on top of it, ending the video]
[later, she puts up another broadcast, only this time it's strictly voice only. She does not sound very happy]
Can a glitch keep someone from returning to their human form? Asking for a friend.
[at least her sense of humor is intact]
I guess, while I'm here - if anyone has any nightmares they'd like to get rid of, I'd be happy to eat them. It might be a power thing keeping me like this, I don't know.
[...] And yes, I'm being literal.
Thank you in advance.

voice.
It helps that he sounds like he's smiling.]
What does it feel like?
[And if he's dreamy, he's youthful, too.]
voice.
For me or for you?
For you, it doesn't feel like anything - you won't even know I'm there. For me, it's like anyone would eat a meal. There's no real "feel" from it aside from satisfaction from a meal.
voice.
[This is thoughtful, pleased and pensive both. He's not much one for boundaries when he's speaking.]
voice.
That's true, there are a few creatures I know of that don't require nourishment. As for satisfaction . . . the worst a dream is, the better it tastes. They don't differ in how they help me, though - it's quantity rather than quality in that case.
voice.
voice.
But only those. I don't eat good dreams.
voice.
voice.
I've eaten them before, but only out of necessity, and only ones that didn't seem important.
voice.
[He's respectful when he says that, his voice like an inclination of the head, a pair of lowered eyes.]
Nightmares can be important, too, I think. But I see the symbiosis you can offer.
voice.
voice.
And he thinks a moment before coming to a decision. If she'd offer choice before her own hunger, Kaworu can respect that. He can respect it from a very old, very tired place, and the respect feels fond and pitying both. If that's the case...] I may not offer such a pleasing taste, and I think you'll find some better kindness in others offering what does please you. But if you're too low on nightmares to keep you nourished, you can have a good dream from me. I'd like you to leave the bad ones to me. But I'm all right with being a last resort if you find nothing to eat but goodness. [A little breath, then a littler laugh.] Necessity, as you say.
voice.
That's very kind of you, thank you so much. [there's a pause, considering] Perhaps with you . . . I will speak with you first, since your offer is unique to what I'm familiar with. It would only be out of necessity, but I feel as though taking a good dream deserves some advanced notice.
Would that work for you?
voice.
It would work for me. [It's gentle and confident both. He is of the belief that his good dreams don't deserve so much, but...] Perhaps I can come to offer you familiarity.
[He pauses, then remembers to say, lightly,] I'm Kaworu. Nagisa Kaworu. I look forward to the fortune that will come from our meeting.
voice.
It's a pleasure, Kaworu, and I look forward to it as well. [and then, tentatively:] I am on the Caprine, if you ever wish to speak in person. I don't know if I would be good conversation now, but perhaps at a future date.
