[this one is sent in audio only, because goodness no one needs to see his current face--though, his voice isn't right either. it's too light, too delicate, and there is a little too much purr to it. especially without the aid of a video feed, it's hard to tell whether the speaker is male or female or monster at all.

So, I guess it's about time to start returning to our old routine, hmm? Everyone ready for things to go back to normal? Especially with such a good distraction from our recent little 'vacation home,' I know I sure am ready to forget about everything that just happened.

What, like kidnapped and thrown into some bizarre situation all willy nilly? Yeah, first time.

I'm guessing this is leading up to you saying it's happened before?

It's leading up to me saying that, yes, the set-up is strange and it seems like they're observing us, whatever else their intentions might be. And the fact that this seems to be a commonality between all of the similar places that I've been to and have heard about.

A theory of mine is that we can learn about this place by studying the other realms that we've been pulled to and from.

'Fraid I can't contribute much to this; it's a first for me. One thing I've noticed is that there really doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the people they bring here. Ages, races, height, weight, there's no pattern there. Some of us have some magical ability, some don't; some of us have combat experience, some don't. There are groupings--like there's several of us from the same place and we all have similar abilities, for example--but even within the group, our experience and skill levels vary pretty widely.

There are a few hints at patterns I've found, but I don't know how much merit they hold.

One such potential pattern, is the fact that there are so many passengers that have gone through something like this before. They may not be the majority, but the fact that there are enough of them to notice at all seems like it should be some sort of clue.
