[The sun has gone to bed and she should probably go with it—at least back to the ship, but she doesn't. She walks across the sand, carrying her shoes in her hand and wearing the closest thing she's been able to find to jeans and an orange t-shirt. She does her best to avoid the team colors. She typically wears a lot of blue and she was tired of all the rivalry and team spirit that came with it.

Even with the sunset there's still plenty of ambient light from the various transportation networks and their soft glow. The better to see a man hovering in a sitting position ahead. She heads toward him, rising up from the sand herself to walk on the air as she approaches at his level.]

Weird place for a nap.

[He hums approvingly at her comment:]

Mmm. Good thing I'm not napping, then. [Opening his eyes slowly, he turns his head to the young woman before uncrossing his legs. The Cloak flares lightly at its base, as if it had just catch the wind even though there isn't a breeze, and Stephen stands up in midair.

It's impossible not to notice that she's seemingly floating as well and he raises an eyebrow, clearly interested:]

That's a nice trick. How do you do it?

[She notices the movement, but can't tell if there is a breeze in her current state. She wouldn't feel it and being on the beach there is less to mark its passing though the sand seems undisturbed.]

Standing on the molecules of air. [In her phased state. She's always doing it in some sense while phased or she'd just be falling constantly.]

You?

Right. Standing on molecules. [He repeats, with a bit of wonder in his tone. In another life, he would have laughed at such explanation, but now, he could accept that.] Do you do that often?

[The Cloak on his back gather fabric into a corner and waves at the young woman, causing Strange to roll his eyes slightly.]

Cloak of Levitation. Although I could 'walk' on shield spells too, if needed I suppose.

[It's a theory one day he'll have to test one day.]

Pretty much whenever I'm using my powers. [Whether it looks like it or not.

Her head tilts at the way the fabric moves as if of its own volition and she lifts a hand to return a somewhat confused wave at it.]

Is the cloak a... [A what? A person? A sentient object? A fever dream?] Did he wave at me? ["He"]

May I ask what are those powers, if you don't mind?

[No, he's not surprise by the existence of 'powers' other than manipulating magic like he does. He's seen demigods and super-soldiers on TV, it's not so far fetched to consider that people might be enhanced from their birth.

Stephen can't help himself but to be a bit amused at her reaction to the Cloak:]

It has a mind of its own, yes. [It's the closest way to explain what the Cloak is. He shrugs lightly at her question:]

It likes to be friendly.

[Well, to beautiful women, at least. Something Strange suspects it takes after him, and while it can be annoying at times, he's not going to say anything. The Cloak is one of the most powerful relic known to the Master of the mystic arts, he's not going to question its personality.]

Well, hello to you too, Cloak of Levitation. [Still glancing at it instead of Strange for another moment before answering his question.]

I call it phasing. I can become intangible at will which lets me do a few things like the airwalking. [She gestures generally to herself as if to indicate that's what she's doing now.] Or airstanding as the case may be.

[He doesn't take much offense at her interest for the Cloak over him. It's not exactly a blow to the ego: the Cloak is a fascinating relic after all.

His own expression is one of interest as well as she describes her powers:]

That's very interesting. I don't think I've ever met people that are able to become intangible before.

[There is that android with the Mind Stone on his forehead that seem to be able to do something very similar to her, but it is hard to say if the Stone is responsible for it, or simply the make of the android itself. And Strange knows it's not knowledge Stark would share.]

Are you the only one with that kind of power?

Oh, I wish.

As far as I knew I was alone with it back home, but then I just kept meeting more people with similar powers at my first abduction in the prison. [And life might have gone a little smoother had she never met Tyki Mikk. Though it's also hard to imagine erasing what felt like such a big part of her life.] It got a little ridiculous. [Another version of her, M'gann, Nico, and she's almost sure she's forgetting someone.]

And people here too like Vision when he was around, but I might be the only one right now?
