[He doesn't, but he's getting used to people recognizing him when he can't extend the same courtesy. It's starting to leave a bad taste in his mouth if he's honest, but right now it's more a blessing than a curse.

I'm looking for him. I've been told that he's likely on the Marvisa, but knowing Sam it's just as likely that he's gotten into trouble down here. [Winchesters.]

The Marsiva? [She hadn't realized he was missing though even if it was a little awkward she doesn't like that idea.] So, he's disappeared but his name's still on the roster? [She takes her own communicator out to confirm his name.] And you've tried calling him on one of these?

Yes. [Though Cas won't stop her if she tries it herself. Maybe Sam's just avoiding him; NBD, HE'LL GO THRU HIS FRIENDS.] He doesn't answer.

Days. I don't speak with him daily, but we haven't been out of touch for this long since my arrival.

We don't have the same threats here you'd expect at home, but it's possible. Did you check with his crewmates? He and Nami seem close.

I checked with Katie. And I thoroughly examined his ship. [and his quarters, without asking]

Can you, um...sense him or something? Angels probably come with powers, right? [Okay, she knows they do. She's just not sure the scope. And who better to tell him how to use them than someone who has little idea of what they are?]

Sam has protective warding on him that makes him invisible to angels. -and I don't have a full connection to Heaven anyway. My powers are limited here. [Which kind of sucks, let him tell you.] I could attempt some locator spells, but the ingredients will have to be improvised. As long as the molecular makeup is similar and the energies are the same wavelength, it should be fine...

Wow, Sam gets serious about being able to play hide and seek fairly. [She doubts that's actually why he has the warding. But aren't angels the good guys? Then again, Lucifer.]

Yeah, powers can be tricky here. Mine seem fine most of the time, but I know other mutants who've had that.

So, what do you need for the spell? We might have things on the Twin Roses to help. [She's not at all sure it's necessary, but it's important to keep trying, right?]

[Yeah Cas is the one who scribbled those, but Sam is pretty hardcore at hide-and-seek regardless.] There are several we can try. I'll need lamb's blood for two of them, Dead Sea brine, tertiaries of a newly fledged sparrow and six pomegranates, preferably from modern-day Iran.

Great. [Nodding thoughtfully.] We definitely have none of that. I could get you some table salt and water. [She probably should have expected a list like that, huh? She's seen movies.]

Yeah, I know. Most spells will be impossible unless we were able to find a powerful witch more familiar with the magical energies of this corner of the universe.

Hmm, the witches I knew here have gone. There are some gods, and I don't know the full extent of everyone's powers. [Harder to learn some of those things when so many of the fights that happen in a group are space battles where they're more reliant on the ship systems.] There might be someone who can help locate him. But the disappearing thing is pretty common here.

So I've heard. [Which means absolutely zip to him. All he's been told all day is that if Sam is taken by Atroma, then there's no way to get him back, and all it's done is make Cas even more determined.] ...there's one more I could try. All I would need is a paper map and fire.

[If she was new to this place and lost someone like Kurt right away nothing could get her to stop trying ever way to find him either. Hell, she just might even now. She definitely keeps trying to work on ways out despite no progress there.] Why didn't you just start with the map and fire one?

Then again, a map that needs to include the ships is probably more complicated to come by.

Yeah. [Makes a face like he just tasted something unpleasant.] In addition, it's usually a spell used by demons. It- [how does he say it,] -I don't know if it'll work for me.

Crowley. We shouldn't involve him. [DON'T LIKE. Cas hasn't even met the guy and he's already nixing that.] I might be able to make do with a large paper map of this solar system. Perhaps a library would be able to print one out.
