It does. I've been enjoying it, even if some of the outfits don't meet my tastes.

I didn't take you for someone who appreciates fashion.

Have you seen anything that catches your eye, Loki? I saw something earlier that I think would suit you well.

They already had the model walk, but it might be on display somewhere - ah, come with me?

[and she heads off to go find the displays she walked past earlier]

[ Loki pauses before following behind her. ]

[she leads him through the crowd, slipping between people with ease, as if she isn't really there - until they come to the displays set in the front of the fashion show. At the end she finds the outfit and turns to point it out to Loki.

It's extravagant, the fabric used something that shimmers when the light catches it just right. It isn't immediately apparent which team created it, but the outfit favors dark greens and blues with both gold and silver highlights. It's the kind of outfit one would imagine royalty to wear - or at the very least, what Baku imagines]

[ Loki appraises it openly. ]

Not bad.

[she nods, looking faintly pleased]

When I saw it being modeled, I thought of you.

[ He blinks. ]

Mmm. [she pushes some hair behind her ear, looking to the outfit] I usually text friends if I see something they may like, but I was lucky to run into you first.

[ What a strange idea. ]

Do you do that often?

[dreamvour]

Only if I think it's worth their attention, so not very often. And I don't have as much free time as I used to have back home.

But every so often I still try to. Just to keep in touch when I'm not around.

Why bother?

[she purses her lips, considering how to answer]

Relationships are important to maintain. And as simple as it may seem, a simple message that says I'm thinking of them can brighten their day.

I don't have a lot of friends, whether I'm playing a human or I'm myself. So it's important to me to keep the ones I have. Being as old as I am is lonely sometimes.

[ Loki frowns, not comprehending. Why have friends? Especially among people who were weaker, who would die in a matter of years. What point is there in inviting such pain? ]

I don't see it. Loss is worse than loneliness, surely.

It can be. [she isn't disagreeing] It can hurt deeply.

But I'd rather suffer that pain rather than drown in nothing.

Surely it is not that bad.

Mmm, perhaps. But I'm the only one of me there is. Honestly, no matter what I do I'm still alone.

So I guess I try to find something that'll make me forget that. Even if it's only for a little while.

I'm not the last, I'm the only one. It's only ever been just me.
