They have different skill brackets. I only compete in the highest one, which has more than its share of stronger contenders.
[Yadrolla has this down to a science. Regular brackets for the orange-skinned humanoids, then extreme brackets for visiting aliens or powerhouses who can achieve way more.]
I'm not about to ruin the day of those in the lower brackets.
[It's just not sporting. Thor loves winning, but not when the odds are stacked unfairly like that.]

[Despite of how this sounds, it's not exactly flattery. Strange is simply stating what seems the most likely option from what he knows of the Asgardian. And if there is someone more powerful than Thor on the fleeting, it's something important to know, at least to his opinion.]
