[Ben offers the shopkeeper a big, fake grin when he notices his staring, then gives a little wave and heads for the door] I was just window-shopping, I get most of my stuff over in the not-so-legal shops.

You scoundrel. [Dryly.] I didn't think you needed stuff that was so black market. Or is it just less branded, there?

It's better quality, too. [the lack of branding - or at least, significantly reduced - was definitely an appeal, too] Won't lie, I hate being it, but it's usually better and it'll do stuff the main street shops won't sell. I do it back home, too.

Impression I've got from some folks is that I'm way into the future so I wouldn't get half the questions anyway. Unless they went into military history.
