Somehow, I don't believe so, but I did make a promise.

It would be disorienting to dip in and out of realities, I'd imagine. One place gives you one set of memories, the other another.... How strange all of that would be.

Yes, I can only imagine that combining them would essentially lead to madness, having too much information of the separating time lines. The details would undoubtedly blur depending upon how quickly you could jump from one to the other, which events were drastically different, and whatever physical or mental toll it took to pass each one.

Do you experience anything like that when you dream of the Fade? I know not to that level, but perhaps some kind of blurring of lines?

Not quite like that, no. Nothing more than an inkling feeling of some sort or the other. The Fade isn't the deathtrap that everyone insists.

I admit my experiences with it probably weren't the best examples.

But the First of my Clan, Pel... She manages to make magic sound... Dangerous but wonderful.

Yes, walking physically into the Fade isn't the experience I would suggest to just anyone.

Magic is wonderful for so many reasons. It is dangerous, but only to the simple fools who do not truly understand it, or think that it is a gift that requires little dedication or a lack of understanding. Or those who think that blood solves everything.

But your dedication to the craft has always been impressive. I was always happy to have you by my side.
