So what else have you been up to?

Not much, honestly. I've been doing the trivia stuff, but I don't know much about alien planets.

Yeah, I went to one of those. They were mostly based on team trivia. It was pretty boring.

[ She hasn't been back. ] I've been spending a lot of time by the ocean.

I walked by the ocean a few times. Mostly just been hanging out in open areas. There's a few places not so crowded. It's nice.

It is. I haven't really been back to the ship, except for a few times to check and see if things are alright. [ She points at a hotel a few blocks away. ] I'm staying there tonight.

[he turns to look, eyebrows raising] Yeah? Big spender. [he's teasing] I go back at night. Not much of a hotel guy.

They gave me a lot of money, [ a bit of disgust in her tone]. I figured it was better to spend it before they decided to take it back, or not give it to me in the future.

[ She shrugs. ] Besides, it's easy enough to make money on these planets.

Yeah, that's true enough. Might as well treat yourself if they're just gonna give it away, I guess.

[ She nods. ] It's actually cheaper to rent an apartment for the month, or a small house. I did that on the ocean system. But when Tommy asked me to help him out for the night, I thought it'd be easier to get a room here.

[ She rolls her eyes. ] But I didn't want to stay there any longer. He was done fighting for the night, anyway.

[knowing he absolutely deserves it, he doesn't even attempt to block it. He just winces and reaches up to rub his newest bruise] Ow. What! I wasn't gonna judge!

[ With just some random guy she was never going to see again? That was just... not how she was built. Definitely not something she'd been raised to think was acceptable, and also just... a lot of her feelings about this had been really warped by what Luceti had made her do, and what she'd seen happen to other people. She's not sure if she's hurt or just... really angry, but she knows that he might not think he's being insulting, but part of her feels obligated to defend her 'honor' and the other part of her feels like she should be able to do what she want in this area without "judgement" and all of her is broken-hearted about these kinds of relationships, and so she's more... indignant than insulted.

She's gonna make to storm off anyway, though. Because of the principle of the thing. ]
