[Sokka is, in fact, not doing a lot of waystation visiting right now. He's mostly working on fixing up the busted up scanning systems of the Blue Fish.

When he's sure the Blue Fish is in top shape, he'll be visiting other ships docked at the station. ]

How did the Blue Fish fare in the attack?

[Oh sweet merciful spirits. He stares up at the hunk of junk that he assumes as a ship at some point. ]

It's still ship shaped, for a start. [He turns to look at her, worried.] Are you guys okay? Were any of you hurt?

[ahaha, she cracks a tiny smile at that joke, but gets more serious as she looks over her shoulder at the ship. Yeah... it is a mess. She sighs softly but shakes her head at the question]

Our medical officer was able to patch up any injuries. We're lucky that we still have a med bay. [even though Hange's gone. She bites back another sigh]

And now it's my turn to ask you the same thing. You weren't hurt?

OH yeah, Hawke got beat up a little, but we got two medics so he was fine.

[He nods at the Red Fish.]

Do you ugys need help patching her back together? It shouldn't take long to get the Blue's scanners back.

We do need help, desperately. But it will take a lot of time and work, and I could only accept your help under one condition. [yes she's going to be a butt and make you ask what that condition is]

[she gives him one of those watery blinks that take a second too long. sleep deprivation, yeah...]

I don't think much is happening now, other than mending stuff. You can take five.

[Axel's hanging out near where Tourist is docked, and waves casually as Sokka approaches.]

Hey, Fridge-Man. Gotta tell ya, that fridge is awesome, I bought as much stuff as I could cram into it on the last planet. [He jerks a thumb over his shoulder toward the ship.] We weren't hit too bad, but the gravity generator got knocked out. Finally had to dock because I just couldn't stand floating anymore. If you've got a minute, think you could take a look?

Hey, glad that it's worked out for you.

[Sokka pulls a face. ] Yeesh, that can't have helped in the fighting any. Sure, I'll see what I can do.

Yeah, it definitely made things interesting. I'd appreciate an expert eye, though, for sure--it's all just blinky lights and metal bits to me.

[He leads Sokka down the hall toward engineering, but he's actually got no clue which blinky-lit-up metal box is the gravity generator. He scratches his head.]

So this is where I need a map to go much further...

[Thankfully, Sokka does know where he's going. He's stopped being surprised about this kind of thing now. He just knows. He'll head to the generator, pressing a few buttons and making thoughtful sounds. ]

I can give this a shot. I'm pretty sure I can get it up and running again.

Oh, man, I'll owe you one. I didn't wanna bother Hiro too much, since his ship's still pretty banged up, and I know Robin's up to his ears in repairs. This is kind of a small thing, but I'd appreciate the help.

Lemme know if I can do anything. [He doesn't know a piston from a flux capacitor, but he's always up for learning something new.] I've rounded up some parts while we've been here, but I'm not sure if any of 'em are what you'd need.
