[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.

[ She looks confused, and still somewhat grumpy. They are not cats, this is clearly fact. ]

Miqo'te are human just like any of the other races.

Humans have round ears. You do not.

[He rubs at his chin.]

I suppose you could be something akin to an elf or a troll. Trolls have a fine layer of fur, depending on the tribe. And I am an elf.

But... [He stifles a yawn.]... it's far more likely that you are from a different world altogether and I am overanalyzing things.

Humans are any of the five races. I believe the species you're looking for is called hyur in my realm. The ones that nearly overrun this fleet.

Considering that you are clearly elezen to me, we are most certainly from different places. I've never heard a term such as elf before. [ She points at him lightly. ] And you should be on the lookout for a better place in which to rest than in such a malleable, public space.

Yes, that's them. So there is a different name for them... how interesting.

[He's not bothered at being called elezen after acknowledging the differences, but he does huff a bit and puff out his cheeks at the light scolding.]

It was an accident. I wanted to get out of the infirmary for a little while, and then I fell asleep anyway.

But I will go back. Someone else probably wants a turn.

The infirmary? Are you ill?

[ There's no judgment to it, but curiosity and polite concern. ]

Not... ill, exactly. [He rubs at his temple.] I suffered a concussion during the attack on the Fleet. It's mostly better, but concussions are not easy to heal with magic.

[paeon]

No... magic is only a salve for wounds of the body, not soul nor mind. [ She resists the urge to reach out and pet his hair at seeing the motion. It's been a while since she's had anyone to care for, here in space, and her natural tendencies have been denied overlong. ]

Would you mind if I accompanied you back? To make sure you don't make any more stops along the way, of course.

[arcanepower]

[He's a little bit like a stray animal, shy and unused to positive human contact. It's a good call.]

I-I can get there myself, [he stammers, and there's a bit of pink on his cheeks again.] You don't need to worry about me.

In that case, allow me to go as a selfish observer. If you were to fall asleep again in a more public space, I would not put it past the proprietors' interests to blame all members of our Fleet for causing a disturbance. Is that all right with you?

[ Look, she's not going to give up until Belth lets her escort him. She's really good at escort quests. ]

[Belth huffs and grabs the edges of his hood. He is pouting hardcore.]

Ugh, fine. [He is certainly a teenager, if it wasn't obvious before. He gets up, though, gathers his robes and his book, and starts shuffling down the main thoroughfare.]

[ That's okay. The teenager she knows best is much more emotionally stable, but that doesn't mean he's any less immature. Oh Alphinaud. She follows at his pace, keeps alongside him without watching him too closely. ]

Belthazar. [Audible apostrophes in names don't bug him. That's like, the entire point of the Horde. Especially if you're a troll or an elf or an orc. Drek'thar, Vol'jin, Lor'themar...]

[ At least their apostrophes have a logic to them! But she rolls her eyes at the insistence. ]

Positive. Miqo'te are in no way related to felines. We are men, just like any other human.

[He takes a smooth piece of silver out of his robe, then proceeds to shine a bright spot of light across the shade. JUST TO SEE WHAT SHE'LL DO.]

[ She watches the movement, eyes flickering to the light, then she merely sighs in amusement and shakes her head. ]

As I've said, although mayhap it would depend on the person you were trying to bait more than their species?
