[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.

I do! Fortunate for you that I've found one of my own, or I might even be tempted to steal him from you.

[He chuckles softly.]

I better not catch you looking at his ass, alright?

I assure you that you will not catch me. Or would you rather I look at yours? I would not argue that.

[He smiles to himself, pleased.]

[ She just gives him a Look and nudges him in the side with her elbow ]

[He laughs, mock-swooning and leaning against her.]

[ She's laughing, too, and patting him on the back consolingly ]

I'm sure it's a heavy burden to bear. But I bet if you ask real nice, your boyfriend will let you cry on his shoulder about it.

Only if I ask him terribly nicely.

[He smiles.]

Is that what I am to call him? Boyfriend? I'll admit I was a bit lost as to that part.

[There was amatus, but that was a personal word, and he certainly couldn't go and explain the nuances of Tevene to everyone.]

... Well, you can really just call him whatever you want. Lover, significant other, so on and so forth.

[serpentis]

[He sits up and brings a hand to his chin, thinking.]

I...didn't have a word for him. Not to give to someone else. Curious.

["Lover" seemed to simplify the matter down to just sex- Dorian had lovers, and this was more than that.]

Sometimes it's not easy to do the relationship justice with just one word. It's easier to just say a word that everyone knows, you know?

[He smiles a bit, nodding.]
