[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.

[Since he's kept her here instead of letting her run away, Jove moves to the end of the dock and sits, reaches down to unlace her boots.]

And the plant? It's a hardy thing, it should be doing fine with just water every day.

I've noticed. Surprising how it thrives still even without sunlight.

[That must mean it's still alive, so Jove flashes Cullen a pleased grin before she goes back to what she's doing. The boots come off and she rolls her pant legs up, then dips her feet into the hologram water to see what happens.]

Oh, that feels... odd.

[When she turns back to him again her smile is gentle and she pats the place beside her.]

Come sit with me.

[She'd like to make some new memories here in this place that's so important to Cullen, once she'll actually remember this time.]

A woman actually fell into the lake, earlier. Odd indeed.

[Look at him happily sitting down next to her, though he keeps his boots on.]

[Not Jove. She trails her feet through the water and pretends it's the real thing, but when she hears about someone taking a tumble into the water...]

Was she alright? It looks quite deep.

[Probably all that weird mist though.]

I pulled her out. She was fine, if not embarrassed.

Of course you did. [She leans over to bump his shoulder with hers.] You're the Inquisition's resident knight in shining armor, I'm sure rescuing damsels in distress is part of your duties.

[Careful, you'll knock him into the lake!! Except not. He rests his palm on the dock, a little bit behind her, as he leans back.]

You'd do the same.

[She's about positive she'd have to work a lot harder than that to wrestle him into the lake.]

Well yes, but I imagine it's different when it's a handsome man instead of a skinny white haired elven woman.

She was also an elf. [Does that change things?]

There must be something about you that attracts us, then. You carried her from the lake, caught me before I fell face first in the snow and carried me back to camp.

[She nudges him again, but this time she doesn't pull away. She stays with just the smallest bit of her weight resting against his side.]

I hope she was as grateful as I was.

[He takes that as an invitation, and gently wraps his arm around her.]

I don't recall you being embarrassed. [Just passed the fuck out lol.]

No, I was too busy praising the Creators because you were so very, very warm.

[Which is something she's glad is still a thing, because while she isn't really that cold at the moment it does feel very nice to be wrapped up in his warmth.

And there might be a slightly mortifying memory of trying to wriggle her hands under his armor to get at his warm skin, but really everything from her hitting her knees in that snow is a giant blur.]

[And he's just in a tunic right now. No armor in the way.]

[She has definitely noticed, don't worry.]

I could be warmer.

[But he's already holding her a little tighter.]

[She is going to up the stakes a little and lean her head on his shoulder, though.]
