Waystation Mingle Log!
Who: GAME-WIDE MINGLE aka everyone
Broadcast: If you want
Action: The Stations!
When: From 04/05 through the month of April.
[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.
Make your own prompts, set up your own Virtual Realities, etc! For reference, the OOC post with info is over here!]

[There's no real reason to hide her station anymore though, that's part of what making Skyhold a public place had been about, it's just that she isn't exactly sure how to explain the Inquisition to a small child. Just like she would for anyone else, perhaps?]
In the world I come from there's been a lot of fighting, and I lead the organization that's trying to bring balance back to things. Skyhold is our headquarters.
[She's leaving out the world on the brink of destruction and everything, but that does kind of make the whole explanation a little more difficult to give quickly.]

[ There's a few high authority figures she's familiar with. King Nachtigal is terrifying. Then there's one of her friends, the Lord of Spirits, who's very serious about her mission. ]
So... you're a leader that works together with your friends to bring peace to the world?
[ She parrots back Jove's explanation, using her own, simpler words. Crewmates, team, organization. Whenever she hears words like that, her mind immediately comes to the conclusion that it's the same thing as a group of friends. ]

[She honestly hadn't known much about King Alistair when she had met him the first time, but it hadn't taken long to see how the humans had adored him. It hadn't been hard to commit her resources to helping him, not when he had turned out to be such a good man.]
That's... actually a very good way to put it. Do you mind if I steal that?
no subject
If a lot of people love him, he must be a great king. The kind of king I know of is scary.
[ Then crossing her arms, she tilts her head thoughtfully. She doesn't joke around much, but she makes a small attempt at it. She should try speaking with a straight face... but when she tries, her serious look falters back into a smile. ]
I'll... I'll give it to you, so you don't have to steal it!
no subject
Well in that case we should trade, to make it even.
[Jove stands and offers Elize her hand with a bit of a bow, then nods at the throne.]
How about sitting on the throne?
no subject
Yes. It's a deal then.
[ She glances back and forth between the throne and Jove, reluctant at first, but she takes her hand. Her cheeks are turning a tinge of red again. ]
Y-you're sure?
no subject
Of course. It's much softer than it looks, don't worry.
no subject
With all the spikes poking out of it, it's kind of scary-looking. If she could, she'd like to tie colorful pink and purple ribbons on it... or decorate it with flowers. ]
What do you do on the throne? Do you give orders to people?
no subject
I do sometimes. Sometimes I have to punish bad people for things they've done and that's usually when I sit here.
no subject
[ It sounds like a tough job, both dealing out punishments and being a leader. Not only is Jove kind, but Elize is under the impression that she must be a very strong, intelligent leader. ]
no subject
I didn't think I could either. Sometimes you can surprise yourself with the things you're capable of when pressed.
no subject
Did you want to be a leader, Jove?
no subject
Not at first. My people traditionally stay out of the affairs of humans, but with the way things played out I didn't have much of a choice but to take up the role. In the end I'm happy it turned out the way it did, of course. The people I've gathered for the fight have become like family, I wouldn't trade them for anything.
no subject
It brings her to wonder how lively it would be if it were filled with people. ]
You must have a lot of friends. Like, a very big family.

There are nine who come with me into battle and another three who advise me, but the soldiers and the people who live in Skyhold all make the whole thing feel complete. There are others, of course, who don't live in Skyhold, but it's those twelve who make it really feel like a home.
