Waystation Mingle Log!

Who: GAME-WIDE MINGLE aka everyone
Broadcast: If you want
Action: The Stations!
When: From 04/05 through the month of April.

[Well, that all sure happened. But at least you have the waystations! Whether you want to stock up on supplies, work, trade, or visit the very fancy Virtual Reality Dome, it's bound to be a nice break from the attacks of the 5th.

Make your own prompts, set up your own Virtual Realities, etc! For reference, the OOC post with info is over here!]

Oh, why not. I haven't been the pretty face in ages.

[ This is true! Unfortunately there's been like ...a war. That tends to cut down on that sort of thing. So mishaps have been in much greater supply than, say, joy. For most Thedosians, the Fleet is probably like a vacation. Sadly enough.

Anyway! They're probably close enough to spot the gentleman in question by now, hanging out, selling his stuff that he sells. Hawke leans elaborately on the display, smile approximately seven million watts.

[ O'danya grins for the deception, and moves to the other side of the stall to "browse" the wars very studiously. Hawke stands out more for his brilliant and blinding smile, so the merchant immediately turns to him and begins peddling his overpriced wares with nary a pause in his demeanor.

Trap? What trap? ]

[ Psh. Traps. Hawke is a mage, totally not capable of setting those. They're for rogues and stuff!

...right, so. He haggles gently - and pointlessly - over what is essentially a very shiny rock, for a few minutes, mostly to entertain himself, then abruptly throws what appears to be a complete tantrum over the abhorrence that is this pricing system here. The merchant, wanting this kind of attention exactly not at all, begins looking for a] a way to calm him down or b] more preferably someone with authority and large clumps of muscles to shut him up.

S o distraction is go, then.
