Partem Memoriae
Who: Felix Harrowgate and anyone!
Broadcast: Fleetwide text
Action: A tropical world of the Yadrolla system
When: 5/31, the day after the Festival
[The parties may have ended in most of the system, but at least in one corner, as the silver confetti and plastic cups are being swept up, it continues. This time it's not in celebration of the games but something - or someone - a little more personal to some of the members of the fleet. After all, Felix had promised, in a way.
A brief text message will be sent out the fleet]
There will be a celebration this evening in memory of our friend Lumiere, who has since departed the fleet. Regardless of whether you knew him, come enjoy yourself as I'm sure he would have wanted.
[The coordinates that follow lead to a small lounge-like venue near the beach in the Brightbirds territory. The main room is bright and cozy, hosting the featured entertainment for the night, orange-skinned men and women dancers in flowing, feathered, revealing garments who make sinuous circles around the room. Musicians with guitar-like instruments and drums play throughout the night, to accompany the dancers.
On the patio there is a buffet full of small finger foods like skewers of meat and candied fruits and various other decadently simple dishes. The bar is also nearby - though the drinks aren't free, they are available at a discount for the evening.
If you want a little more quiet, the patio leads directly out onto the beach, which is also set with small cushions and tables for you to enjoy your food and drink while you listen to the waves and the distant city lights reflected in the water]
((OOC: This is a mingle! Please feel free to make your own toplevel and have some fun!))

Cyril Lavellan | OTA (late to the party ops)
There's a part of Cyril had notices how he isn't around to share in that laughter though, and it hurts more than he wants to admit.
Still, he's nothing if not good at pretending everything is okay, so he partakes in the food and watches the male dancers and spends time in the thick of things. He might also be a little tipsy.]
Can you believe the way his hips move? That seems impossible. [He comments to whoever happens to be near.]
/fingers guns
Mmmm. It is very impressive, though I wouldn't say impossible.

I want to learn how to do that.
jeebus where did time go?
Perhaps if you ask nicely enough he'd be willing to offer you a lesson.

[He turns his away from the dancer's swaying hips and over to Cyril's face, chin cradled in his hand, his expression dark and lazily thoughtful]
Though I imagine he'll be occupied for a few more hours yet.

[Not that he truly believes that's a danger, but there's humor in the hyperbole. He smirks at the joke.

[Alucard is watching the performance somewhat idly. He's no longer interested in the way that he might have half a year ago - he's too aware of a certain heart that he's never allowed to break again and has no interest in doing so anyway - but it is very pretty. Still:]
I've seen comparable. [He's been around a lot.] Though he is very skilled.

[He shifts his attention over to Cyril, for the most part.]

It is. Though I imagine if we could, people would simply want to go home so they could jump ship.
Counter productive to our hosts, at least.
no subject
Maybe. I personally would want to take a detour to a place with beautiful men who didn't mind some company. Have a nice vacation while I'm there.

[His smile turns just faintly...perhaps flirtatious isn't the word. But the way he looks at Cyril should make it fairly clear that he's implying that he doesn't think Cyril should have any problems finding companionship.]
Unless you mean somewhere wholly populated by beautiful men. That might be a bit more of a challenge.
no subject
Oh, now you tease. That would be my wildest fantasy.
no subject
It certainly would be an experience. Perhaps our hosts would let us make suggestions, at least.

We could have a different planet filled with women for those who like the fairer sex as well. And constant shuttle trips between the two for those who like both. Oh! And way stations for those who don't fit neatly in either.
no subject
[Okay now he's just flat-out grinning.]
You have a fascinating imagination.

[Though Alucard perhaps didn't know him long enough to call him a friend. He was very entertaining, though.]

[Even though Alucard had no intention of partaking, he'd enjoyed flirting with Lumiere. It was nice to do with no expectations.]
