[holy shit you guys there is a planet, like, an actual planet now. what are you gonna do? get out and look? marvel at the locals? search for aliens? stand around your ship and questioning every life choice you've made up until this point? hang around in orbit because planets are for squares?

this is mostly for early stuff, so please feel free to make your own posts in the next couple of weeks with more planet (or station, or ship!) shenanigans.]

[FIRST he takes a step back from her sudden, grinning self.

and then he... scratches his head, looking back out at the crowd. one eyebrow slightly raised. he's practically emoting. it's really bizarre.]

[He is emoting! It's great! :D Look at that!]

Maybe we should leave you here, huh?

[he shakes his head. don't leave him here. the dust is going to stick to his face.]

[She blinks at him in surprise, because she wasn't actually expecting something that resembled a serious answer... then she laughs and gives him a friendly whack on the shoulder.]

I suppose you can come with us after all!

[oof. ...he straightens up and gives her a flat look.]

Cheer up, champ!

[She grins. Did she even notice his unimpressed expression? Certainly yes, but it hasn't slowed her down any.]

You look like you're old enough to partake, so I noticed they have alcohol around here.

[oh.... that'd be nice..........

but he can't, he shakes his head. not while he's "working". he glances back out at the crowd.]

Don't tell me you're a teetotaler.

[hey, whoa. he shakes his head.]

Then why not, hm?

[he points at his face.]

I know you look spooky, but I'm pretty sure the bartender would be able to handle it!

[Hange that's... not... what he meant.

he shakes his head...]

You don't have to be shy about it, you wear it every day!

[ugh he cannot deadeye at her any harder.]

... Hmm?? Did you mean something else?

[nodding. still deadeyed. but that dissolves as he rubs the back of his neck--he doesn't know how to explain it and he doesn't particularly want to put effort into it...]

... I know! You want to take the bartender home, and you don't think he'll find you attractive with that stuff on!

[GGKK he tries to punch her again.]

[ker-BLOCKED this time!! Heh she's strong too]

Wipe it off, and I'm sure he'll find you palatable! Maybe even with it on, who knows?

[HE IS SO MAD (wow she's pretty strong though...)

he takes his arm back and starts to stalk away from her.]

[Man, you know what, this time she'll just let him go. He can listen to her laughing, though.]
